For some reason these don't show up as backlinks in ahrefs. Sorry I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to SEO. Just started my first IM journey and I need some help.

Who could help me understand what is causing them to not show as backlinks?

Ahrefs takes time to pick up new links. Check them manually on google search and if they're indexed then nothing else matters.

So, it has been now more than 3 days and the backlinks are not registered. not in semrush and not in googles search console.
I tried hearthis and teachable but both are not working for me. teachable is not indexed I think.
I noticed that in search console says there are 4 backlinks to my website aand semrush says there is only 1 to my website but they both have different links. so what is going on there?

Both Heathis and Teachable are indexable. Just because yours are not indexed yet, it doesn't mean they're not indexable.

Semrush and search console takes time to pick up links. You should check your links manually on google search. Just copy paste it in google search. That's how you make sure they're indexed and that's what matters.

So basically it would be a related unique article to the niche you are talking about in the link you provide? Like a guest post?

Do you do these type of backlinks for money sites?

Use cheap pbn services here on bhw for tier2.

For some reason, my post on demo.socialengine.com is not showing. Asks for login/signup. Double checked that I have not set it up like a private or something. Any ideas?

It is not showing in /blogs when I am logged out. Also, when I enter the full url, it asks for login. I can see other posts in there, but not mine.
I have double checked the privacy>anyone option, but again...
I think it is better to start over and take it carefuly with your guide.

I have no issue publishing content there. I didn't modify the post setting or anything. Here is the sample I just created a moment ago with a new account https://demo.socialengine.com/blogs/111/41/lorem-ipsum

I think with demo.socialengine THEY DELETE all old accounts at a certain point and also old content. It might however just been me who was deleted ........When I checked all content users seemed to be newish. Its a demo site so that sort of makes sense to do

With teachable which also indexes great I think there may NOW be a few extrra steps before the school itself goes live ...you sign up for the free school option. Possibly what I did extra was not necc I am not sure

Teachable method doesn't work anymore, it requires you to select a plan and pay for the subscription to get your school live. I wish I saw this thread earlier.
