1 - Expired domain 10years old, same niche with low stats but nice name ( former lang frensh).
2 - expired domain ok stats, same niche, name sucks (needet lang)
3 - brand new domain with nice name

Depends. If you are planning to build next Google 2.0 go for the 3rd option
If you are going for a PBN go for 2nd option
And if you are going to an average site willing to rank slightly faster than starting from scratch, and the name is relatively important, go for 1st option.

I've been using all 3 options situationally. There isn't a better one for a general scenario.

I prefer 1st or 2d type.
Domain name doesn't have any advantages in SEO, same cannot be said for about good backlink profile or domain age.

If the history and backlink profile is good for the expired domain means you have to choose that. It is always better to start with a few steps ahead.

None of those.

1. Domain age does not matter, if the domain power is low, then you might as well start with a new site.
2. Niche relevancy is important for money sites, power as well. If the name isn't too brandable, well, it's not that much of a problem, but you want at least some level of brandability.
3. Nah, better to get a head start.

I believe that each factor in the aggregate affects the overall situation, and here we must look at the totality of these factors and already choose based on the situation

If for a money site and you're between #1 and #3, and you like #1's name then obviously #1 as it already has some backlinks. I would not consider #2 if for a money site, and would not consider #1 and #3 for a PBN.

I go with 1 and 2

For expired domain relevancy, Backlink profile and good history is more important. These are more effective than age(maybe it can give a bit of value but not much). I would go for 2, if the site already have good stats, the put some effort to increase brand awareness.

i will go for 1. It's little risky and at the same time it's a good tactic

Actually, what is the motto of this domain? Some of the above answers may give you some clarity... Try with your requirements accordingly!
