Guys Guys Guys.. just wanted to ask should i cancel my Japan trip then? which was in April... i tried to talk to AirBNB places i booked there they didn't respond back yet.

Personally, I would. It isn't necessarily the location that's the issue, it's the travel hubs... Major airports, train stations, bus stations, those are what you should avoid.

More than likely there are a lot more cases than just 63 in Iran. It's already doubled btw, that still sounds way too optimistic for me compared to the amount of dead, but this is what's reported for whatever reason. Politics, how prepared the healthcare system to be able to handle something like this, different level of measurements used to detect cases, monitor people etc. All of these factors vary country by country.

1.2k+ cases in South Korea, 12 dead; 3 cases in Philippines, 1 dead; 91 cases in Singapore, 0 dead. What conclusion can you draw? Nothing. The mortality rate in South Korea is less than 1 percent, in the Philippines it's 33%, in Singapore it's 0%, in Iran it's 13%. For now.

Doing country breakdowns doesn't make too much sense for more than one reason, some of them mentioned above. It's just the beginning for many countries, patients don't die immediately, numbers are coming in continuously (new cases, possible deaths).
The other thing is that the vast majority of cases go unnoticed, because there can be no symptoms at all or just mild ones often. You can calculate a mortality rate for known cases only, which means, no-one knows the actual mortality rate, but it's lower than anything reported. On top of this, if the stats aren't reported correctly or thruthfully, which often happens in countries, which aren't exactly the school example of democracy and/or have shitty healthcare, it leads to even more skewed results. I'd treat those stats - or any stats for that matter - with a grain of salt.

Of course all of us live in a country and we know about that country the most or at least that's what we like to think, but try to broaden your knowledge from the wider data, which is available to us.

To top all of that off... When has a government actually given the real upfront facts? I hear 80k cases in China, but I also hear my suppliers fearful of being hauled off like others and never seen again - like the people around them. That isn't an isolated incident.

In my opinion, there simply isn't enough real data to compute effects and reach.

the symptoms is just a mild flu, simple cough followed by colds then high fever, with just that symptoms you will be quarantined, your job will be affected! so the company! so the business!. just saying!

Actually your body can but the enzimes cant. You see, enzimes get destroyed in high temperatures(42 degrees celcius) in a human body. But yeah it would be better , in a way?!?!?

every few years there is always a new virus or disease that will kill the entire world, Sars, Ebola, Swine Flu desease, Zika, its always around the USA elections, and now CoronaVirus will kill 50 million people, and infect 500 million people.
Its good to be carefull during these things, BUT the last few big ones i wasnt paying any attention ( because i didnt realize they were happening ) and it was the best for my own piece of mind.
If its gonna happen, its gonna happen, so you might as well relax, and while were still alive, live every day like its your last!
