PerfectPanel is like Namecheap for panels.

Yeah but let's face it, even self-hosted you're still dependent on another company, just less. You're closer to being truly independent.

These copy/paste panels -> some company -> hosting company

Self-hosted panels -> hosting company

It's much better of course, which is how I operate, but still you're dependent on the hosting company.

if at least there was a competitor at the height, I'm sure that everything would not fall at once and we would have some services working .. last year perfect panel went through many instabilities but nothing of that size, even so the big panels are still with them. I wonder why?

There's a competitor, with a different business model, but it's a secret tho,

I'm still an optimist about the whole situation, and I expect that PerfectPanel will come back, I invested money too, but at least I don't own any money
