About 2 months ago purchased a pro fiverr gig for $1200 for facebook ads services, including campaign optimization, content creation, interests targeting, etc. Little did I know his strategies for Facebook add were complete garbage, barely did anything but did just enough to say he did on his description. I went to Fiverr to complain for a direct refund but they declined me. I opted for a chargeback through Chase but Im wondering if it’s possible to win these? What can I do? He deceived me by saying all these things to close a sale and didn’t really care or try for the facebook campaigns.

I still don't really understand how people buy from 'PRO Sellers'. It's like you are giving your money away. Same service one guy offers it for 60$ or much less and the other for 1000$ because he's a 'Pro'? Their services are way too expensive and why? Just because they got the PRO on their profile? what makes them so special that they can charge 2000$ for a 50$ service? Just because you are doing a transaction with a "Pro"?

You could of got what he delivered and more for 50$ from a normal seller or from someone else that could do a much better job.

Anyway - I am not really sure if you could win this one but did you already reviewed the seller and did you complete the order on Fiverr when he delivered it?

Yea, live and you learn. I did not review the seller, the order completed itself. Basically because customer support will not help me I habe to find anway to get the money back through a chargeback. Basically Fiverr follows their Terms of Service and you cannot refund based off service quality. My only points I can hope to win is to say the buyer deceived me to make a sale and offered uncompleted and unsatisfactory work. Fiverr also says that they are obligated to respond to chargebacks after a certain period of time, and it’s already been 3 months, so the best time to file a chargeback is now, just want other people’s opinions and experiences on the current situation.

It looks like to me you don't really have any other choice other then a chargeback. Still, hear what other people say here maybe someone could come up with a better solution. Good luck!

You can’t win against Fiverr it self easily. But you can win against the Seller.

Moreover, You must have strong allegation with valid proof otherwise your bank will not take action against a merchant like Fiverr.

Hope for the best, you win the case.

All fiverr sellers are 99% scammers.

However, the digital market is still a small place, so I continue using Fiverr to get some works by freelancers, but always make sure to get a "Fiverr Choice" profile. That means that the Seller is getting sales and receiving a great reputation.

It's not only that. Fiverr prioritizes to give "Fiverr Choice" those that make over-delivery (great quality service and chatting). Also, ask if the seller accepts to make a video call. It will indicate that the seller has basic Professional English skills.

There are too many Asians who don't speak English, and it will be much more challenging to get the work done and get satisfied.

Fiverr PRO means high price and high risk of getting low-quality service.
I ordered 5x times with Fiverr Pro profiles. I never recommend it.

I'm sure that you will gain chargeback.
