More a few weeks like that, most people who is getting hit by the google updates will give up.

SEO just became the most unstable thing to deal, who is winning, good job, who is not, time to give up.

But it will damage google too, spam will increase a lot. After that, nothing can be made, Google is destroying the SEO market.

I have an example of what google is doing with SEO. It's like you own the UBER company and you do stuff to discourage people to become uber driver. After so many people drop the APP, there is nothing that can be done to bring people back as they will label the app as unstable and unsafe job.

When was it stable like literally when
Wasn't stable, but we could deal with that, but now, nothing makes sense, who is winning, don't know why is winning, who is losing, don't know why too. Google just became a random pick up machine, they randomly choose sites, except if it's a big site.

I agree but it is becuase the search engines are getting smarter everyday ..they strive hard to get the best possible results to the user. So when you are good with all the SEO practices..you dont have to worry...

As long as you depend on third party to get traffic, nothing is stable.

The most stable traffic i know comes from email list (that's why 'gurus' called it an asset).

Unfortunately it's not easy to keep your email subscribers engage all the time.

the problems we had is,
we just believe what they said,
we ate their propaganda like a snack
LOL

It is getting harder to game the system and requires a lot more work but its achievable. You can use tactics from 10 years ago and expect to be sucessful or even last year.

This sums up the whole thing for me. I do not understand why my website is going down in ranking and why other websites are ranking.

It's not getting harder, in fact, I would contend it's actually easier than it has been in years (circa-Penguin). There are some major differences:

1) You need budget - low level link building is becoming less and less effective. Good links are expensive..nuff said...
2) On-page SEO is much more technical AND important for ranking - meaning, you need to make it as much as a priority as your link building efforts.
3) Time - Google puts a much bigger emphasis on age and authority. Much harder to rank middle to high level keywords in the first year or even two.

This last year was my best ever with SEO and that says A LOT with 14 years under my belt.

Just my 2 cents:)

SEO is always evolving. The speed of technological innovation is fast and so we have to be diligent to catch up. You have to learn every day.

Somebody thinks that SEO is EVERYTHING, but it's not!!
If you sell smth, use more ads, propose different goods, bonuses and so on
If your website is more infirmative, post good texts for people, not for machine

I think the algorithm is just becoming more and more advanced. Google wants to serve the best quality/relevant content to its user first. This is what made google stand out more compared to all other engines. The algorithm isn't perfect though and always changing, and so we have to adapt our methods too.

All crap .

content is key fact writting with solid proof will always be a winner .

quilty everything always win.

even shit can be indexed heigh.

it called money real pbn and good monthly paid links.

I am talking $2k/m a link and content at $250 an article not shitty stuff

pbn at $5k a pop.

I bet your thinking people don't pay that, their people paying $5k a day on pbn and backlinks your be surprised the market moved on it all quilty and money these days !!!

Today you give a price to do the work but you also give a price of the services needed to get the job done, that where ppl are getting stuck on website business.

all the monthly backlinking and article work needs to be paid from the client monthly directly but needs to be in your working contract ( many are failing on this )) the good old days not needing outside help gone so we need to hire others.

I totally agree with you as google algorithms are updating you cant expect which link is going to be ranked.

Dude you somehow have this misunderstanding that Google want you to do a SEO. They did not. In fact the majority of their efforts are to fight SEO people, and especially black hat SEO. They spend literally billions for that. If tomorrow all SEOs are gone, Google profit will explode. Every time you, I or basically anyone in this forum manage to rank an website its defeat for Google algorithms, which destroy Google credibility as is not in fact showing "the best result for the search query". Get real, we are the dark site.

I agree that it can be unstable, but I do not necessarily agree with this.

I have a website that has grown consistently for 15 months. Organic traffic increasing every single week.

The reason why that happens?

I post high quality content on a user-friendly platform. If you do that, you know exactly what Google will do to your content = give it some love. :)
