hi
i sell digital goods one of my buyers purchased something from me yesterday and i was out of station i didn't respond him within 6 hours he filed dispute . i have sent him product as i saw the mail
but he said he purchased from another guy he wont close the dispute . so i immediately removed my product from his access . but now he wants it back and mailing me to send again ?
what should i do ? dispute is still there should i give proof to pay pal (mails screen shot) he not closing the dispute what should i do??

You just need to provide PayPal with evidence that the product has been delivered and they will close the dispute.

In that case, refund his money and close that dispute from your end. If your client does not have access to the product, then his money is also not your's.

If you delivered / granted access to him, provide ample proof like delivery email, customer's acknowledgement, chat transcripts, access logs etc. to PayPal and file rebuttal.

Play fair either ways.!!

But he is not ready to close dispute.I granted him Access earlier he was like I bought from another dealer so refund me so I removed his aceess .what should I do? He opened the dispute continuesly chatting there not even escalating to PayPal .
I tried to refund but it says error I don't know why and balance is in negative now

If your balance is negative, then you need to add some funds first. Don't you have backup payment method added like bank cards or bank account.? In case of disputes, orginal transactions are put on hold. You can refund him directly through resolution center. That hold amount will be reversed to your client and case will be closed instantly.

If he bought the service from another provider and you have removed his access, then it will be fair to refund his money.

just contact paypal and tell them that you want to refund the buyer. Also, do not forget to mention that he had access to it before disputing the transaction.

You can provide proof to PayPal that you did deliver the goods.

Sometimes, it's also worth just refunding a PITA client. It's lost money but some people will cause you more damage in the long run (negative reviews etc etc).

Is there any way to reverse the amount which is on hold to buyer again ? I don't want to add more funds in PayPal.
amount which is in negative in my balance is same amount of his transaction.
What happens in resolution center? He is chatting in dispute section what happens if the dispute stays like this only?

I want to refund but says error maybe because my balance is in negative but why should I add funds ? That amount which is on hold should be reversed na?

I will tell you my experience.
I have exchanged btc with paypal.
It was 20% extra money.
The buyer sent funds to my paypal and I have sent him btc. After 1 week he opened dispute and my balance was in negative. I was already feared that he might open a dispute as I have heard alot of bad stories and he did.
I already had removed my attached cards so that it cannot charge anything from any attached case.
Now the outcome was my balance was in negative and I had to loose that paypal account which was 5 years old :(

Till your balance is negative, you won't be able to refund him. If the dispute stays like this, PayPal will keep buzzing you to add funds. They will also put restrictions on your account. It will be a big headache to deal with and not worth your time. So better, Add funds, refund that client, keep your account safe and move on.

And do not give access to that client unless he close that dispute. Within that conversation, provide complete details that you granted him access before. Include a screenshot of delivery and if you can get his access log, add that as well. It will be a legitimate proof that your client used your service post delivery. Let PayPal know what happened in first case.

Yes.

> If he choose to close the case by his own, he will be able to reopen it within 180 days.
> If he escalates that dispute to claim, then PayPal's decision will be final.
> If he looses, he won't be able to dispute that same transaction again.
