My First Youtube Journey

Good luck on your journey mate ! Are you by any chance making TTS videos from Reddit posts? If that's the case, do you make the videos manually or do you use a bot to make the videos?

I do it manually. Is there a bot lol?
That will save me lots of time

Quick Update:

Yesterday one of my videos went a bit viral compared to my other videos. 99% of the traffic is from search and recommended.
And guess what I made a second video on the same topic and it's getting a lot of views as well.
And guess what today I will make a third video on the same topic LMAO

It's not viral viral but for channel with 100 subscribers I'm getting 60-70 views per hour on ONE video.

I think that's the boost I needed so I won't stop with this topic until the views stop

You can monetize TTS? Arent youtube recognize computer voice when you apply for monetization?

I don't know but I use my voice. I'm sure there are plenty of programs that sound like real human

Thats ok, i thought you are using tts software.

I searched on youtube for "reddit" there are many videos on that topic, almost all are with computer voice over. It looks like its possible to get approved with that.

Yes, there are a lot but the human voice sounds much better and it takes me the same time

Thanks for updating us, following this thread!

Would really appreciate if you could answer some quesitons =)

1. How long does a video usually take for you to create?
2. Are reddit generated video still able to get monetized if you're using a human voice?
3. How is the audience responding to the human voice? Does it seem like people like it more than TTS?

A video takes now takes me around 2 hours to make it and 30 minutes to post it (tags, title, desc, etc)
I believe they are otherwise I will monetize it only with affiliate offers.
I get pretty positive comments and already have some fans who are engaging on every video I post.

From what I've noticed, youtube wants to crack down on those reddit videos that just have the reddit content in them. I think you can work around that by doing a "reaction" type of it.

Yeah TTS is soon completely unmonetized (adsense).

Good luck OP. Remember - consistency is the key. Your thread shows good results already!!

Agreed. Consistency is the most important thing in regards to Youtube. And you could definitely explore other options if monetization won't be possible.

Since I make updates very often there isn't a big difference than before but it's still growing and I'm happy with it.
Let me know if I should make updates once a week or once every 2 weeks or even once a month.
