Looking for YOUTUBE Subscribers / Hours watched

Hi BHW,

Just made a YouTube account for a new business, however I don't plan on using it for about 30 to 45 days until website and all other things are completed on my To-Do list.

I want to get a custom URL like youtube/businessname, however YouTube says I need 100 subscribers and 30 day wait period, Im ok with waiting 30 days, but have no way of getting subs without posting video content.

Also, for YouTube monetization, it requires 1k subs and 4000 hours watched.

Is this something I can buy? Or do I have to build the channel organically first.

Hi, 1k subs and 4k hours watched is simply general prerequisites

If you've been in youtube for awhile
There's so many cases in where people have finally reach there, and after 4-5 months they aren't getting accepted like forever
Moreover if youtube system detect unnatural growth (they reviewed it manually afterall)
- how can one getting 200 subs in day 3 with a video with no like & comment
- how can one getting 40 subs in one day, with only hundreds of view, 10's like and comment (your vids might asking subscribe for a fraud gift)
- etc

You might consider buying one, those who have just got accepted. Then pivot the channel direction

Interesting, didn't even consider buying a YouTube account, whats the cost? Don't need a massive channel, assuming the channel name can be edited and videos deleted.
