I try to think of viable ways. I try to be minimalist like I'll wear an extra jumper, use tea candle heaters to and walk or ride a bike to the store but other people are like NO! turn the heating on damn it and drive the store. Stop wasting time.
Oh they definitely work. And if you're a bit more of a risk taker (these thing can get seriously hot), it can double up as a stove.I've seen videos or read something about that process at one point in my life and didn't know if it was viable or just some guy playing around.
I have nothing but a backpack (and a dog) but no furniture, just 2 t shirts, 2 shorts, one pair of shoes, a laptop, phone and a cap, I have zero winter clothes. But have many digital assets instead of physical ones.
Dude I know, right? I wanted to buy a house for 10 years but I am still waiting. Maybe one day I'll wait long enough to no longer want it?Damn, Im not on that level, but I also live a minimalistic life. I dont buy anything that I don't need by simply waiting a while before buying anything. So only if I still need and want something a month or so later I will buy it.
I think it really depends where you are coming from and the way you grew up.Minimal lifestyle is the best lifestyle simply because you are more happy, contented and have lesser shit to deal with
Minimalism is a goal I have been moving towards for about 2 years now.
I travel the world to over 15 cities a year, all I bring is a laptop + backpack.
This is achievable when you're young, if you're either single or with someone who can do the same as you.
Outta interest what sort of age groups are you guys who live out of your bergans? 20s? 30s?
Never, could never do it. I envy and at the same time pity the people who are doing it.
I see what you mean about age.
Personally I am 21, but I still pay bills. I pay the majority of the bills in my household. I have the ability to move out but at this age, I am doing everything for my parents.
I travel alone or with my business partner, but I enjoy the secluded thoughts and internal growth.
It's when you taste solitude for the first time. You feel internally euphoric. That first time, your pupils dilated out of fulfillment, this is the moment of no going back. This is when I truly realized my purpose isn't one for materialistic, because it was an empty void of a chase, a chase of nothingness
Which is why I have begun putting my money into
1. Financial assets
2. Parents wellbeing
3. Personal wellbeing
4. Travel
I recommend that documentary to anyone, and I hope they will do another documentary for the Digital Minimalism.
