Hi, maybe the title has confused you but I want some real knowledgable advice from people who know what facebook is like. A few years ago i used to just use facebook for normal activities (chatting to friends), at that time my ad account got hacked suddenly somehow and it was used to buy £1000s of random ads. At that time i contacted my bank and facebook and got a refund and i was so scared of this happening again, when they asked me if i wanted my account closed to be safe, I said yes.
A few years down the line and I am very much in social media now, one of my avenues now is through a legit facebook page which has now 220k likes - its a massive part of my income. I realised my ad account was closed at the time but there was literally no way to reopen it, any appeal explaining my situation would return in a standard message. I decided to then naively just make a second facebook account, with the same name and use my second card to start a new ads account. So for around 6 months now I have been paying and growing my facebook page with this ads account. I made this second account a part of business manager along with my main account which is also on it and i have not experienced any issue.
My only problem is that I have read about too many stories concerning how facebook will unpublish pages for violations, and the fact is that i have a second account which is against TOS but i also have a second ad account on my page all in plain view. I have done everything legitimately for my page, and I don't want the stress of this thought one day this second account business is going to bite me in the ***. What is the best thing i can do about this? I don't want to do anything illegitimate, I just want to safely get my original account's ad account back on track and not have a second account anymore.
