Outsourcing Blog Articles vs Writing Them Yourself?

I've been pondering this question for a long time now.

I'm getting close to burning out with constant writing.

Do you think its better to outsource blog articles rather than trying to everything yourself?

I live in the UK too which helps with the currency exchange rates etc...

How do go about building sites?

What is your time worth?

I can put together a WP site but what takes me 50 hours I have a guy who does the same work and better in 5 hours.

I can play with Adobe to create a logo, but I'm crap at art and my time is better spent elsewhere, so I outsource art stuff.

If I was native I write all by myself, even if takes time, lucky me my partner is from the UK as well.

Outsourcing content will give you headaches, 3/4 never listen to whatever you will say. I tried in the past, only high-end editors will do proper articles.

Depends a lot how much you pay for good articles and if it’s worth for you. A lot of people who owning blogs likes to write.

I'd outsource them only to american/Canadian freelancers. If you're from England and outsource to somewhere else, you'll most likely be disappointed with the results.

Growing a business is about either:

- Attracting new contracts fast and delivering them.
- Outsourcing the work at a reasonable price.
- Getting investment and getting people in to do the job for you

You are speaking about scaling up, and to do so you need a high income from your sites and a lower cost of labour. Outsourcing could help in this. You need to spend time on outsourcing.

It would be worth it to outsource if you are getting burned out. Take a breather and then you can always go back to writing.

If writing your own stuff is burning you out, why not DICTATE your content instead?

You're still in control but you produce more content much more easily

Outsourcing frees your time for other things. I am not a great writer so for me it's way better to have it outsourced so I can work on other parts of SEO and marketing that I am good at. The hard part is finding a good writer at any price. Most are just not good writers and I've found the good ones are unreliable at meeting deadlines. Right now I'm waiting on the last two article on a 4 article assignment I started back in the beginning of December.

I keep testing out new writers for money site content but most of the content is only good enough for tier 1 or tier 2 content.

You know the old saying, "it takes one to know one"? Well it's more than just an elementary school comeback. I believe it holds truth. I always say to pay close attention to grammatical, structural, content flow, and spelling errors in sales threads and elsewhere. But as a person who is not a good writer, would such issues even be noticed?

As a reader, not a writer, it's not that difficult to see terribly written articles.

I can tell the difference between good and bad content. What I determine as bad content is poor grammar, poor flow and spelling errors. Oddly enough I typically see decent structure.

Your statement may be true when the reader is a non native reader.
