My understanding is an account with a high number of followers is needed just to be accepted into the plug account (even if you don't plan on promoting directly to your followers and only promoting via shoutout's or paying for traffic etc)
So is this strategy "impossible" without a big account
From my understanding, yes. Unless the 'invite only' works differently, but that I'm not sure of.
