Xbox 360 vs. Playstation 3

Xbox fucking sucks. I have it and it is a piece of shit to be honest with you. ANY good game you can find on the Xbox you can also find on the PS3 (minus Halo and GTA), and the PS3 version is usually better. The PS3 exclusives are so much better anyways. Halo is a piece of trash and the only reason why it's so popular is because it's a simple game for simple people, and we all know how many simple people there are in this world.

Killzone 2 >>>>>> Halo 3.

PS3 has Little Big Planet, Killzone, Uncharted, Demon's Souls, Metal Gear Solid, Dragon's Age, God of War, Braid, Infamous, Resistance.


..and not to mention Final Fantasy XIII (way better on PS3) and XIII Versus (PS3 exclusive).


And as for the online professionals playing on xbox, that is bullshit. The only thing is that the density of Americans is greater on Xbox, because all Xbox fanboys are American.



Bottom Line:

if (you want to Play GTA)
get an Xbox;
else
get a PS3;

I wouldn't say the "xbox fucking sucks." The PS3 may present better quality but imho xbox has much funner games. And when you say the PS3 versions of games are usually better I have to disagree. And when it comes to Final Fantasy XIII, how could you know it is better on the PS3 when it isn't even released yet? Playstation probably won't die but it's definitely taking last place.

bottom line: if you want to play metal gear solid get a ps3. anything else including braid get an xbox

Some RPG's are better than movies dude. Why don't you say that no one cares about movies or books either?

3) Long Stories, such as Books, some looong movie/TV series or RPGs.

-Note how books are often considered "better" than the movie by intelligent people because the writer is able to fit more character and plot development, etc. into the book (because it's longer.)


So I would say that a good RPG can be even better than a good book (if done right) because an RPG contains all the elements of a book, plus the added visual & sound effects, plus additional elements which make it fun as hell to play.

You realize that this is not just XBOX technology.. There is stuff MUCH more advanced than this, and that just because XBOX made a video, doesn't mean that they have the best technology.

It's called hype. It's a form of advertising. You should know that..

The reason why so many people love Halo is similar to the reason why so many people love Avril Lavigne. Sure she might have some catchy songs, but compared to real musicians, she has no talent. But why is she the popular one?? Image.

Call of Duty, Killzone, and PC shooters are all better than Halo. Halo is a glitchy game played by the kids of the United States.

considering those things you listed i would suggest getting the ps3. has bonuses like the blu-ray player, good browser and even better is that it doesnt have the breakdown rate of the 360. i think the xbox360 is superior in online gameplay. but i still vote for ps3

This is just Xbox technology. Peter Molyneux has been working on it for about a decade. It used to be called "project dimitri" and he alluded to it many times before. Now Microsoft pwns Lionhead Studios, so what was Molyneus is now Microsoft's. The technology basically looks at you and tells where your arms and stuff are, then projects you into the game with your body as the controller. It's like the Wii controller on steroids.

As for Halo, not my favorite but lots of people like it. Gears of War is a much better reason to get an Xbox IMO.

I got both a PS3 and a 360. I moved about a year ago and I still haven't plugged my PS3 in, but my 360 was plugged in as soon as I got a TV. There are very few PS3 games that are exclusive, where as 360 has plenty. 360 is also better for online play.

I hated Gears of war and still do. COD4,Call of duty modern warfare 2, forza 3, and halo are all fun. Halo has dropped to the bottom of my list. Modern warfare 2 is first now and forza 3 second

Gears of War is one of those games people either completely love or completely hate. I'm in the former category, as you can see from my name on the forum. OP might like it since he doesn't like FPS (neither do I) Gears of War is more tactical.

There is similar stuff that is the same with slight differences, trust me. The technology that Microsoft calls it might be theirs, but the basic idea is not.
