it's like some people just don't want to see other people get cured, I mean some powerful leaders, I don't know much about them but the Pharmaceutical industry reaches 1.2 billion dollars every year and there must be some evil people involved. I would rather smoke weed to get my self medicated but they don't want me to smoke it and offer me pills.

Nothing major is supposed to happen. The vaccine is under development and it will be ready soon enough. The virus is not spreading too fast so far, at least globally, the first case was reported almost a month ago, so it must have been already present throughout the holiday/festive season, when many people travel long distances. The mortality rate is rather low, 3-4% (the actual number is even lower than this, because in many cases, it causes mild illness only, which is not reported at all) and those die usually, who are with otherwise poor health.
The seasonal influenza is more dangerous at this point, it's responsible for 300k-650k deaths per year globally. And how long since we live with it year by year? It infects 10-20% of the non-vaccinated population every year. Are we afraid of the flu? The flu vaccine is ready since a long time, but the vast majority of people don't vaccinate against it at all. I'd say, it's just the usual fear-mongering thanks to the internet. If we were a couple decades back, no-one would know or care about this besides those, who are majorly affected.
