Start Government Niche Website

Sorry for bad English.

This is my journal on starting a non-English government niche website,
I start my website on 28 December 2019, to start i target low competition keyword, so that i can rank faster. i'm not gonna target keyword that is hard to rank.

I use fresh domain, and by 22 January 2020 i have written 30 articles average words per article are about 900 to 1000 words

i make a checklist to make sure that all my articles can rank faster, and can rank for multiple querry. my checklikst are
- Article must answer search querry (user intent)
- Semantic search optimation
- embed at least one video
- Unique, different, rather clickbait Tittle
- make sure that i get green on my Yoast
-Simple URL
-Put at least one internal link that is little bit clickbait, so visitor can read more post


And my target is creating 500 articles on my website, and get 300.000 PV next June 2020

update, 22 January
it's been 3 weeks since i start... i see some trickles on my website, today most of my articles now rank on page 2.
today i get 65 UV and 96 pv,



and from 30 articles i get 1000 querry on my google search console, and average position of those 1000 query is rank #18

i am not monetizing it yet, maybe i will start to monetize after i get like 1k or 2k pv per day

I don't know about non English countries, but high tier countries such as Australia, UK, US in the education/government niche has the highest payouts for Google Ads. So Google Ads may be a good monetary method for you.

i think so, because before i start this website, i do some research about the CPC and it is quite high, but i dont know exact CPC on my niche, because i dont put adsense yet...

22 january 2020, update rank for every keyword that i target, i use free serprobot. so i can not automaticly track my rank, so write it on my excel sheet,

Cell domain authority means = competitor who has high authority in top 10 Serp
Cell Low Domain means = amount of low domain authority in top 10 Serp
Cell Tidak intent Means = Amount of post that does not answer search querry
Cell Rank means = my rank
average position of my rank is = 17 based on my target
Cell with no color means = i'm not creating the content yet

most of my targeted keyword are "2 word keyword"

some of them are not rank in top 100, i dont know why but it seems because of google dance,
as you see like keyword number 5, yesterday it is not in top 100, but today it rank numner #21, and also keyword number 13, and the best is keyword number 26, yesterday i'm not ranking on top 100, and now i rank number #11.

most of those article is still not more than 3 weeks old



Pretty darn good, i think...

waiting for the google dance to rank my keyword number 31, number 24, and number 20..

Here i thought you are creating a .gov site, which I think is very hard to get the extension + is pretty pricey.

i am not creating .gov website, i create .com website, but the topic that i write is about government


update 25 Jan, i still not adding no content, what a sham, still 30 articles, i do some link building, maybe i about 10 links profile and forum, low quality BL, and i index it using bulkaddurl.

yeah, it still going up bro..now it got more than 100 PV today, and i hope tomorrow still going up

28 jan 2019, it is a month lauch this website. i wrote 32 articles.. and today i got a spike hockey stick, i dont know why but i thing it is because i rank for various querry with my 32 articles., i also buil some backlink (maybe about 20-30 reffering domain) from article submission and other, but on my GSC it still index 7 reffering domain

here is the traffic, i hope that next mont i hit 1k-2k PV per day
