Gaming Channel Without voice over

Hoping to start gaming channel. But i 'm not going to adding voice while playing it. Is this is getting negative impact for my videos?

Its all about entertaining. As more emotions as better. You have to understand: The most people don't watch the streams/videos because of the game. Its about the person who plays the game. The viewers are fans/subscriber/follower. Its much more personal than just gaming vids.

Positive, as voice is sometimes too much and overdone.

But, the issue is how to prevent the look of recycled content when live streaming.

Maybe try the mobile driving games genre. (Such as oddman games) Or complete walkthrough the stories of games. (Such as Tomb Rider or Far Cry)

If you plan starting an YT channel with games such as Fortnite, CSGO, PUBG, etc without voice over then it would be useless. (UNLESS you’re extremely good and decide to stream it. When Gosu started streaming he didn’t use a mic but because he was so good he got really popular)

i only watch game video for this reason :

• game itself
• player (voice over sometime with cam)
• meme / good editing skill (example : dota wtf, fortnite funny moment)

Honestly, it depends on what you want, and enjoy doing.

A wonderful idea that would connect with the"no-voice" model would be, gaming video-guides SHOWING the answer to popular questions. Use graphics and words to point out the solutions

Example:

- 3 Secret Places on the Training Mode in Apex Legends
- 7 Specific Locations to Get Flyer's Chests in Apex Legends
- 10 High-tier Loot Locations in Apex Legends

Build +10 minutes videos and insert them into a YouTube playlist... Torrents of traffic GUARANTEED.

my big brother has a gaming channel and he has been doing it successfully since the past 5 years with no voice. he has made some videos with voice but the majority are no commentary. We have been getting around $300-500 per month from the channel. He is good at playing games and video editing and keyword research. it's a pure organic channel he never wanted to do any blackhat stuff on it he purely plays whitehat SEO. I, on the other hand, is more into blackhat for my websites and stuff. We have seen around 1-2million organic views on some gaming videos which went viral and earned some killer money in 3-4 months. He is actively working on the channel and growing it if you guys want any updates to let me know here I can tell you how he is doing.

Its all depends on watch time.. if ppl sees your full video its success. You can get monetised

lol if u try to monetize a channel that has gameplay without commentary most likely u will get rejected for monetization.

read the youtube adsense quality guidelines.

if u need to monetize gameplay channel without commentary it usually includes high quality effects and editing to add unique value to the content.
if plain gameplay you will be rejected
