hi i wrote articles for someone through craigslist and was never paid but the articles have been published on a website which im guessing is theres what can i do? can i complain to google? and if so what action would they take?

Unfortunately without a pre-existing arrangement involving some kind of third party arbitrator (like Paypal or some escrow service), you’re likely hosed. That said, nothing stopping you from spinning those articles and recycling them for paying clients or for your own projects.

Next time use a platform like fiverr. They will take their cut. But you will get paid.

Always go for Pay as you go. Or just send only one para and rest blurred as a rough copy. After getting paid send the complete article. Never ever go for postpaid service people always going to take advantage of that. I learned my lessons the same as you.

You know, some of my worst clients were from CL.

As you're the writer, you own the copyright to the content you've written and your buyer did not pay for the content. I've never done this myself, but you can try submitting a legal removal request to Google. They do have an option to remove copyrighted content in their legal troubleshooter. Web search>I have a legal issue that is not mentioned above>I have found content that may violate my copyright>Yes, I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf>Other.

Again, I've never used that tool, so you might want to look into it more before going that route.

create a blogger or free wordpress blog, publish the articles there - date them few months ago. Then submit a DMCA to the hosting of the website where ur articles are published - the hosting company will take down those articles. Also, u can submit DMCA to Google - Google will de index those page. As u r the original owner, those website admins cant show any documents that can prove they're the author of those articles.
