For me everything is still the same. The sitemaps still aren't working properly. The mobile usability pages is still at 4 (used to be at 200), same for the sitelinks searchbox. I also still have only 2 pages of results when I search for site:mysite.com even though the pages themselves do not appear to have been deindexed. Traffic is still in the gutter as well. Did anyone see some improvements in any of these sections yet?

Check your GSC > coverage report > it is stable
Now check Mobile report, if it drops and you're sure your website is responsive, then it is sure there's something wrong at Google's

Could you share where you got the VA or how I can get in touch with them? Would really try a test on one of my websitesThat was me when I was testing it I think I had 12 pins on there and just couldn't be arsed to go through it. Anyway start of 2018 I decided to just hire a VA from upwork and I got her to do it. She pinned everything as I wanted and then created a pile of other boards and cross pinned again (it's all products and blogs) it stands today at 227pins I think...
Since doing that low season I get 12k views a month high season it's 33k! It cost me less than $20 for her to do it all and I've not touched it since - it needs updating again I get a fair bit of traffic to the blog however for the shop as I'm based in the UK and I don't ship out to the US I'm loosing out to a massive audience share 18.9% for US vs 6.5% UK ... so yeah allocate some time for it!!

Upwork. Just place a job advert there. She only wanted $3 per hour which was insane I've hired a few times since then and paid 2x her wage as she's been worth it! Quality of work is insane along with record keeping.

I'm starting to understanding though and have worked out what does well on there as a platform or for my niche anyway. Like I said my biggest issue with it is I get so much interest from US customers and a ton of US traffic (not loads compared to most) BUT I can't do nothing with it as the products we sell & manufacture we can't ship outside of the EU but with maybe future trade talks with the US after "Brexit" that might be different!!
It's not a fault of mine I think there was a blog post / news thing out this week saying how Pinterest has had a massive uptake in US users since last quarter.

Hi, I was getting about a 1/4 of my traffic when I dropped down and had dipped in most places for my keywords, since coming back its went back up but has never managed to go back up to the 27k I used to get back in Sept, Oct last year and had slowly started to dip but come Nov 7th it went way down ( massive drop). I had had 2 negative SEO attacks on my site roundabout sept oct so I put my traffic loss down to that but come November 7th everything just tanked when I came back just before Xmas I was getting decent traffic but not back to the 27k
So id say although its back and gaining good traffic again it's nowhere as it used to be in Sept-Oct last year. I doubt it will ever get back to that as it seems I lost a lot of long-tail keywords and 2-word keywords to the likes of google books, eBay, Amazon, Pinterest etc..
My plan when I get time is to go through all the keywords I lost and see what is ranking in place of me and make web2s of the ones on that page for my keywords. I have been using a high authority parasite with this and it's great, getting decent traffic from that and ranking well. I have used a few tests with it and they have worked well giving me high rankings for a lot of words so what you lose in one you gain with the other.
The SERPs are so messed up now, yes I got a lot of my traffic back for now, but nowhere near what it used to be in August last year
I think we need to maybe wonder if these google books, good reads, etc are here to stay or for the time being anyway and if so then its time to just replicate that. I have started to do this looking at what is ranking what web2 and then making a web 2 in the same way but better and adding my own twists to it and I have to say google thinks its dinner time and laps them up.
So analyzing what is now where your keyword used to be and trying to replicate while you wait to see what's happening with your own site if google loves these nonsense sites so much then I shall feed it to them.
Even though I had dropped down I was still ranking at no1 for some words and I was still getting the 10 box trust under my site so i don't know how that is possible

1- Visitors in my websites lost.
2- Mobile speed report at 0.
3- Desktop speed report at 0.
4- Mobile usability at 0.
5- Coverage still ok and increased.
So, probably it's a big bug.
I lost 80-90% of traffic from all the blogs I have. Honestly I don't understand what Google wants this time. I read almost in any forum a lot of people experienced the same issue, but who's to gain here ?

To be honest you made a few mistakes allready. Read to much about others, which does not help, SEO is not one size fits all and requires testing/analyzing/changing things Yourself. And disavowing / reactive changes after a G update often and most of the time don't work.

Yep my three sites that got hit show exactly the same kind of weird things like this image.
The rankings and traffic are completely vanished.
