A broker, just offered a reasonably large sum for my domain. I'm assuming it is probably for a gaming company of some kind.

Can anyone suggest a method for evaluating it's value?

Thanks, ... no backlinks or traffic, I've been sitting on it. Estibot says it gets 25k searches a month on google and is worth 18k. I've been offered more.

a domain is valued via the traffic stats and niche the domain is in.

we value buy how much your earning know and x24 times it to get a value.

that how we do it.

example.

website earns

$200 month we time's it via x24

24 x $200 = $4800 value .

a website must earn roughly the same amount for 3 months to get an x24 month value.

how we all calculate a website value.

some ppl do 1-year income to sell their website others do 24 months 2 years and sell their website, all preference of seller.

branded domains are sold the same way, but also get top-up fees if been promoted big.

Try to find out how much money the person can spend that wants to purchase the domain. Traffic stats are just a rough estimate. The value can be much higher if a large corporation wants that domain to launch a brand. The value lies in the eyes of the beholder.
