Any tips for newbie a blogger?

I started blogging about a month ago, already know a few things but would love to know more.
So I stumbled on this website searching on info for new bloggers.
Currently, I am using "Blogspot dot com" to host my blog for free.
I don't have any starting capital but still want to make money from blogging although I can't do it full time.
Any help is appreciated!

Why Wordpress?

Because Wordpress (wordpress.org) is the best platform for blogging.
Google can delete your Blogspot blog with just one click.
So it's better to use your own domain and host.

I personally feel that wordpress is easier to operate than blogspot.

Always use wordpress man, you will regret if you dont. Wordpress offer:

- Ecommerce made easy with Woo plugins
- There are so many plugin that will solve all your problems <=== the best part
- Wordpress developers are so many
