[Journey] Making $20 ~ $30 a day on a Casino!

Hi! Welcome to my journey.
I don't know if this post is allowed since it has nothing to do with making money through the internet, but if it isn't allowed then I will delete it right away!

so here's my story.. I've been going to a casino exactly a year ago, because of some bad friends and my lack of willpower to let it go lost around 10k in total.. just before new years, I lost around 5k in a single night and thought my life was over.

I don't have any other source of income besides my normal job so I thought up something since I'm already addicted to the casino why not just make money from them?

The problem I always had when going to a casino is thinking that I had a feeling that I was going to make more money or that today was my lucky day when I already had from $50-$100.. so basically it was greed that kept me from winning at a casino

so what I want to try now is to make around $20 - $50 bucks daily and just go home (after finishing work). because at the beginning I always win around $20 - $50 then I start losing it all after winning that kind of amount.

$20 might not seem much but multiply it for 30(days) and it's approximately $600 a month

Progress so far:
Day 1 (January 7th, 2020)
$100 (Lucky me got a Full House playing Stud Poker)

Goal: $100 / $10,000 (Money I lost last year)


Also, I'm going to give up on this journey after losing $500.

I hope I can achieve my goal! and get revenge for all the money I've lost.

Hate to be negative but if you lost $10k last year at the casino then its probably not the thing to make money on - not only because it sounds like you're not that good at it, but also because the casino always has the edge, otherwise they'd go out of business.

Instead, why not invest that $500 that you're going to lose, into something that has a better chance of making money?

exactly that's how I lost my money. so I'm trying to change a bit, winning $20 and backing off completely from the casino for the day

I invested a few hundred bucks on growing an Instagram account.. got it to 2k in like 3 months but it was too slow and my engagement died so I gave up.. also did some dropshipping but had problems with the payments and getting the money held so I quit that as well..

now I'm thinking of doing this and learning the CPA thingy to see if it works.. if it doesn;t then im gonna look through bhw a bit more until finally giving up making extra money.. even though I hate my job but seems like there's a problem on everything I do

Honestly I feel sad for you mate. You have to quit it. The odds are absolutely in house's favors and your history with gambling..
Please quit now, search for a gambling addiction center. It will bite your ego in the ass but you have people that care for you including me. Please take care of yourself

Are you a poker player? Or are you just playing whatever game seems the most fun. If your a poker player and you absolutely have to do this. Read up on strategy I guess. If your just playing what you want to play. Then you need to be utterly and totally ok with the possibility that you lose every penny you own the next time you step into the casino. Do what you want, just understand the possible outcomes. I really really really dont want to see a post from you in a couple days being negative about losing or beating yourself up. Not because you shouldnt be ashamed of yourself but because you knew the risk before you even started. After all you lost 10k last year... Anyways, Good luck.

I would advise you to look into other ways to make money. This is a dangerous path to go down... Remember you are not playing against other players only (no limit/PLO) where rake is a big factor, you are playing against the house also and thats a bad idea. Playing GTO (Game theory optimal) in these cases takes extreme willpower and expert knowledge and you are still bound to give your money to the house.
Remember you are looking at short term results here.. you might just had a good run. Its really hard to get an overview on how you are running over such short sessions.

It would be great if you could use your motivation to earn money at a slower but safer rate with other online endeavors. But if you already have made your mind up do some studying atleast. Twoplustwo is a great source of information regarding gambling. Read it hardcore for two days and reevaluate your decision.

Gambling can be very nice in short term while being on a lucky strike but long term I guess you cant fill your goal. Still I wish you best of luck digging yourself out of the hole.

I spent two years doing exactly this. I made my living from bookies and casinos because I bet under specific circumstances. Technically, it can be done. There are edges you can take from a casino when bonuses are in your favour (by the math - not a gut feeling) but playing every day because ‘people lose money after $20’ is not a winning plan.

You’re going to lose. Burn your money right now and you’ll be better off because you’ll save the time. You have no edge here just kidding yourself.

Stop. Spend that money on some domains and BHW has everything you need to actually make money. Then blow it on the casino for fun if you want - but don’t try and convince yourself you’re making money.
