Paypal withdrawal fee now 1%?

I don't get refunds from Payoneer and Transferwise. I never had one yet. I don't really get refunds from Paypal either. In my 7 years online I only had 1 very bad case of chargeback on Paypal, and a few baby ones scammers. I never really get legit chargebacks because if there's an issue and we talk with the customer and they have a valid reason to get their money back, I'll issue a refund. But it rarely comes to that too because I'll just offer other services and bonuses and usually people go for it.

You have no guarantees with Paypal that you will get your money back.

Two months ago I happen to have an issue on Paypal and Payoneer at the same time, 2 payments I made, identical cases. I raise a dispute on Paypal with their "process," and I contact Payoneer about it too (they don't have an in-built way to do a dispute, so I had to contact them). The result? Paypal lets the scammer keep my money, Payoneer refunds me.

The vast majority of buyers may agree with you, but given time and experience with Paypal they won't. Payoneer has a much better record.

Ultimately Paypal's days are numbered, with the appearance of more and more payment processors with smaller fees and the rise of cryptos, together with paypals increased fees and destruction of businesses and lives (crypto, adult, and the list goes on) left and right, paypal's days are numbered. Fuck em, good riddance.
PayPal have 60+% market share of the ecommerce transactions. Stripe is distant second with 16%. Crypto doesnt make it to 1%. So nope, PayPal isnt going anywhere anytime soon.

I never said soon.

Holy sh*t.

The problem with PayPal ist that we have to use it on marketing as Indians and Pakistani guys and others from that side of the world have PayPal as their only payment option.

But I'm together with GayPal haters because if I'm selling links for 700$, I get 678$ in my Paypal and when I withdraw they convert automatically and I get ~650usd in my account at the end. So they take 50$ from 700. That's insane.

Can't stress this enough - F#$K PAYPAL! F#$K PAYPAL! F#$K PAYPAL! F#$K PAYPAL! F#$K PAYPAL! F#$K PAYPAL!

Did I mention I can't stress it enough!?

In China, they take 4.1% of each sale and 35$ withdrawal fee,so for 700,you only get 700-29-35=636
And you can’t withdraw the money directly to bank account, you must use payoneer, they take 1% fee and the bank take some other fee
Son usually you only get around 620$ if you live in China

That sucks. It's too much.

I just checked, my transfers are still free and I am in a SEPA country.

I just glanced at the Paypal transfers page in my account, and I see a 1% fee for withdrawals.

It used to be ever since I've been making money online for the past 7 years $5 dollars or 4 euros, depending on the currency you're withdrawing.

So you would withdraw, say, $1500 and lose $5 for the withdrawal. Now that same withdrawal would cost $15 at 1% fee.

When are they going to stop? They are so fucking expensive, and as time goes by they just keep increasing fees and keep increasing fees left and right.

Okay, seriously, I order all of you to start paying and taking payments in payoneer and transferwise and perfectmoney and skrill and cryptos and... toilet paper and pencils and goods whatever.

Wow wow, wow wow, Paypal has to go! :D

you might want to look at the paypal debit card. I think it's pretty cheap to use.

i don't know what you saw but it is still free and i just checked it

This is free. Maybe paypal implemented this in some countries? It will be a disaster if they start charging for withdraw also.

PayPal is good for me until now only bad thing is high fees.
Their fees are really too high.

Tbh 1% is not that much compared to what banks charge for a withdrawal or most other online services. Where you get fucked with a PayPal to bank withdrawal is the currency conversion rate.

I withdrew some money a few days ago, i didn't notice any percentage fee though. More than likely it's "special treatment" for your country. :p

Yeah we always get special love :p

You don't have to get screwed on the conversion. You don't have to convert anything on Paypal. If you're withdrawing USD but Paypal is converting it into EUR before sending you the money, you can contact Paypal and tell them to stop doing that, to make USD your default withdrawal currency. They will do it.

From then on when you withdraw, your bank will receive USD and they will convert it into EUR, giving you a better rate than Paypal.

They make money in currency conversion and then charge for transaction. Now they want to charge for withdraw? Indirectly they are asking their clients to keep money with them.
