I haven't started with the collab deals yet. I prefer to do this with people I know offline, preferably around where I live so that if they don't perform their part of the work, I could go to their house and push them to do the work
In such deals, my cut would be 25% to 50% depending on the nature of the work and who brings what to the table.U.S. Taxation, Hadoop and Robotic process automation are the top three skills with very high demand on Upwork (I'm doing none of these). Instead of learning a brand new skill, I suggest you start with what you know best already, and polish it. Or learn a new skill related to your primary skill.
