WELCOME

Hello everyone,

I thought about creating this journey post in order to keep track of my progress, give and receive help from fellow blackhatworlders and have a daily accountability thread.

I'm not an expert on Internet Marketing by any means.

I've only tried building one website in the past, which all in all resulted in a 300$ profit through affiliate marketing. I had ranked several LSI'a and small competition keywords.

But then I got bored and let it die.

The problem was that I was doing the content myself, which got tiring pretty fast. For this project, I will try to outsource many things, however, my budget is very limited. So I guess it will have to be 50/50 manual work and outsourcing.

MY FIRST GOAL:

So now I decided to give myself a second chance and try my best at creating a modest side income. For starters, just 5€/day would be great to get things rolling. Gotta set small and achievable goals, right?

WHAT I'VE DONE SO FAR:

  • Bought domain from namecheap --> 3€
  • Bought affordable monthly hosting --> 1.10€
  • Set up my website with WordPress, added my logo

NEXT ACTIONS:

  • Keyword research and then order some articles based around those keywords
  • Think about the website structure. I don't think I'll silo, since the site is micro-niche.
  • Read about WordPress plugins

It's been a long time since I last built a WordPress site, so I've been out of the loop a bit. I need to read about the new must-have plugins. Is YOAST still king? :)

PROFITS --> 0€
EXPENSES --> 4.10€
NET GAIN --> -4.10€

Best of luck. Will keep an eye on your journey :D

Good luck with your journey man.

Getting bored and letting a site die is something I can definitely relate to. Been there, done that. Anyways, your 50/50 plan sounds awesome and doable.

Looking to get into a micro-niche soon, so looking forward to your progress!

As for outsourcing, I would recommend getting a cheap micro niche creation service here and building off that. All you will need then is content and SEO. There is a wide range of sellers here for this high and low.

Best of luck :)

Following your journey..I hope you attain success
Any particular keyword research method or tool to find micro niche sites tou would could share?

Good luck.

I do use Yoast, for me it's the best. Carry on using it, it's great. :)

Curious to find out what a micro-niche even is. That’s a new term I’ll need to look up on here.

Following your progress & goodluck! No giving up this time!

Thanks a lot, friend!

Good luck with your journey man.

Well, procrastination and boredom are bitches! ;)
Thanks a lot!

Do you have any sellers you can suggest?
Thank you very much!

For keyword research, I followed this guide, as I don't want to spend money right now on paid tools. I might buy KWFinder in the near future if I see that I can't do without it.

Good luck.

Thanks a lot my friend!

Are you using any of the guides from our forum or elsewhere?

I'm using the knowledge I've attained mostly from BHW forum guides. Many articles are gold!

Well a micro-niche is.....just that :) A smaller niche site.
For example, a niche site is a site about golf. In this site you can write reviews about golf cars, gold bags, gold clubs etc.
Now, a micro niche site, would be a site about golf clubs only.

It targets a smaller audience, but it's much more relevant to user intent search and ranks easier for low competition keywords.

Thanks for the reply @NickDude

I guess I do know what a micro niche is because that’s exactly what my website is lol. I went for : Automotive > Automotive Detailing > Pressure Washers > Electric Pressure Washers

Good luck dude! This thread reminds me of a project I did last year around March 2019 where I scaled the crap out of micro niche sites and made $44,000+ in affiliate earnings. Remember, if one site fails, don't be disheartened. It just requires one site to make up for lost profits of other sites.

It took me 4 micro niche sites and $500+ in failed investments to see an upward trend where one mini site started making $2,000+ per month passively.

Thanks for the motivation! It's always needed. I hope I can make the same progress as you.

Yoast is still the king, although there are other competitors gaining more and more traction. When I created my first blog, all in one seo was the plugin everyone was using.

Following the journey.

Brother @NickDude I suggest you :
1-Creat FacebookPage with the same information of your website then launch ads to get traffic
2-Look for an expired domain-relevant with your niche and high metrics in order to redirect TRAFFIC to your website
3-Post on twitter with relevant hashtags
Seo needs time between 3 month until 1 year

Yep, I ended up with Yoast as well.
The only problem is that it doesn't work well with Elementor.

How does your second point work? I register a relevant expired domain, and then publish filler content with links to my site? Something like a PBN?

Regarding the website, I'm doing things slowly but surely.

NEW THINGS I DID:
  • Set up the whole website, including plugins.
  • Wrote and published my first article.
  • I signed up for some affiliate programs relevant to my niche. Will also try to signup to Amazon, but I let my previous account expire so I don't know if they will accept me.
THINGS TO DO:
  • Order content
  • Create a custom homepage
  • Work on creating some social profiles, as @Tagmo suggested

Good luck with your journey!

Try not to get bored fast this time. Consistency is the key on every business. You need to keep going and the results will come in the end for sure.

Good luck mate. My venture is pretty close to your, building micro niche affiliate. My recommendation for you would be to use rank math to optimise your article. Its like yaost but with most moden seo recommandation.

Unfortunatly, they didnt implemented the rich faq snippet, but yaost did, so I use bot of them.

You seems more organized. Best of luck mate

Best of luck for your journey and yes Yoast is still king
