Why are people changing their username?

I think sometimes people change their usernames to align with a new business or BST service. Lots of different reasons I can think of honestly.
You're right though, reputation is key when it comes to community driven forums like BHW, so you're not doing yourself much good by changing the name everyone else knows you as.

A name change doesn't result in the removal of account feedback, correct?
No, what I mean is if someone has been Shitlisted under one name or had complaints about JVs so they decide a new user name will distance themselves from these.
Itrader etc, all remain in place.

Yea just a small problem mods will find your account and close it, and there’re many active members who’ll be silently keeping an eye on your activities so don’t scam you can earn a lot here by doing honest business

As with any JV you need to do your own due diligence, but if it was a bad error, then such is life.
If it was a scam / fraud then Shitlist is an option.
From time to time we get people who submit JV details, then we discover once it's been approved, they actually try to offer something different.
If people report these, we can nip them in the bud, but sadly people get blinded by promises of instant riches and jump in, make financial investments and get stung.
