PBN useless?

Hello, last two days, I'm trying to analyse what is offering for casino niche (PBN) https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/seo-link-building.43/.

I'm testing samples, and I'm trying to understand how websites. Will it is good for me IN LONG TERM or its will be terrible.

Few examples, sites I'm checking with ah-refs, all PBN(10$-30$ per link) is offering a 5m-100m ahrefs rating, and 10-20 average DA and 0-20 organic traffic. Their backlinks are all from strange pages and comments, account descriptions, photo descriptions

I need your opinion, why you are paying for these websites? It's trash, and I'm afraid in 3, 6 or 12 months I will get a penalty from Google, for black hat SEO

Any good seller of PBN links will ensure they're hidden from Ahrefs.

If you have found the PBN sites and their backlinks profiles look spammy, then use these at your own risk

You need to look at the sellers feedback, look at the reviews and who is doing the reviews, as a starting point.

Hiding these from Ahrefs, stops rivals reverse engineering your site via Ahrefs and finding all the referring domains etc.

Avoid pbns if ahrefs can find them, I think very few here offer casino based ones try and build your own network

I guess it's kind of obvious, but it depends on how good the pbn site was set up, how clean the domain is, how good the content is and how much and what ob links it has.

A strong pbn can last years, usually you get what you pay for and cheap pbns are a bad idea.

However, the casino/gambling niche is a bit spammy, so you can lower your standards for this niche.

Base on my experience (newbie), since your keyword is a casino that belongs to the bad neighborhood keyword list. PBN is still working and if you have some extra bucks, try to make your own pbn site and secure for zero footprint,

I think anything from $500 to 5k in set of x5 would be needed.

A real premium quality PBN is NOT easy (or cheap) to build from scratch and if you have to ask, then it probably wouldn't be right for you. Especially for a niche like this, you may be better off using links from a reputable seller.

Building your own PBN would be the best option, of course, but doing so requires plenty of cash, especially if you don't know how to do it yourself (just check the prices of QUALITY expired domains on the marketplace).

My advice would be to keep asking for samples till you find something good and worthy of your time and money. As mentioned above, you shouldn't keep really high expectations as your niche is spammy as hell.

It's plenty of option, and I need to learn more about PBN. Maybe, somebody has experience with building a high casino quality PBN? I will pay for consulting

Never buy cheap PBN link sellers. The majority of the sites are automated and with poorly spun content. Have thousands of outgoing links and a high risk of penalty.

If you're ranking serious projects or client sites, always buy premium PBN's that cost more. If your budget allows it, buy/build a custom PBN which is niche relevant and for your use only. It'll have a much better effect.

This tip applies to anyone who buys links.
