i used Trade on LocalBitcoins for over 3 years.
sellers have their own price, so make sure you checked the exchange rate before opening a trade.
if there’s a problem you can dispute the trade.

if you want to create a selling advertisement, you need to deposit at least 0.040 BTC.

With their new policy, they removed Gift card Buying/Selling.it was lbc’s biggest trading category.
they also updated their KYC System. kinda strict now.

I mean people could just use coinbase/binance, etc or cashapp things like that for cheap BTC, theyre using LocalBTC to avoid something i imagine most times, no? Hence the higher markup

I have used it many times over 4-5 years. Never had any issue. But very important, ever seller/buyer has terms of trade mentioned on the side. Read through them before you start a trade. Some traders will ask you to provide your phone-number/ID/Etc. before trade. Don't trade with them.

I’ve used them a few times. They’re a bit more expensive but it’s hassle free and you can do a bank transfer so especially in the UK it’s good because it avoids international transfer fees that you get with coin base for example.
