You couldn't be more wrong. Some content here is literally a blueprint to not having to work 9-5 every again rolled out on a silver plate. Some content requires a bit of creativity and is a blueprint to owning a few different cars and an investment home and having other people work for you.I see that quite same way. A lot of content, but a 99,9% is a content that won't help anyone.
I looked though my older posts to find something that I shared as to how easy it was to make money in IM using some of the BHW aspects including the hire a freelancer, want to buy threads and sales threads and could not find it. Perhaps someone with more skills can but those threads are gold as to how to earn in the IM world.
Journey and make money threads are solid usually to learn but leaving out those subforums to learn is a mistake in my opinion as there is gold in them.
If I recall, you did share a method years back where you made $189 on a single day with Facebook which was badass. We need to revive posts like these on BHW
I think this is the one you are talking about:Yeah, that method made me serious money over a couple of years and we didn't blow it on stupid stuff like fancy cars and what not but I did have a generic post about the ways to take advantage of what others post here which has info that has served me well over the years.
I suck at searching and gave it run but could not find it.
I love this forum, and get great ideas from BHW, BUT...
I am yet to see a post of anyones journey, that have made him or her a Ferrari og big house, please prove me wrong and prove your success, I make a good amount of bucks a month, but if I ever hit the jackpot and score big time, I would never share, you should be an idiot if you did...
The biggest misconception that I personally had about SEO and Internet Marketing when I joined this forum was that making money online is something separate from any other type of business venture, and that its all about tricking the system and making money from loopholes. What I have learned since being a member is that SEO/IM is just like any other business in that you only get out what you put in.
I think a lot of people are the same and they come here expecting to be able to read a method, click a few buttons and make loads of money. In reality nothing works like that, you always have to put in effort, skill and time to make money from any project and nothing is different here. There are definitely loads of great methods being shared here, and absolutely bucket loads of SEO knowledge distributed across the member base.
Working methods are most definitely shared here, but of course you have to put in 95% of the work to make the method a success. Think of it like any other business - a chip shop for example - someone can detail how to run a chip shop, all of the equipment that you need, where to advertise and even how to cook the food. What they can't really put in writing is how you have to start with nothing, spend out lots of money, work for months and months to slowly build up your customer base, spend time speaking to your customers and getting to know them, building your reputation within the local community, working 15 hour days because nobody else is willing to, or you can't afford to pay them, going out in the evening door to door delivering flyers to get the word about just a little bit more etc. etc. etc.
Internet marketing is the same - you read a method here, then you put your own twist on it and you do all the stuff that you should know full well goes with that method - you do all the stuff that the original poster will have done, and a bit more, rather than assuming the entire method, and workload can be summed up in a 200 word post.
For me personally it's mostly SEO that I focus on and I can say for certain that I have picked up TONNES of knowledge since being a member here, also 9 times out of 10 I know more than anyone else IRL when it comes to SEO, because I always have the inside scoop from blackhatworld. I have also met lots of interesting people here and found lots of great service providers in the marketplace.
As a great man once said:
Life is what you make it. Always has been, always will be.

And I always thought you were just a techie (not that there is anything wrong with that).
Nice work, Dave.
you cant use this forum to make a dime
I've learned a lot on BHW in the early days and I'm grateful for it BUT...
Several months ago, somebody shared a very nice method on here about verifying GMB's (look it up if you don't know what that is). It was a method worth a lot of money, and within a half hour it was gone from BHW. I messaged the guy who posted it where it went, and he said mods removed it because the method would cut into the profits of GMB sellers.
So basically, some REAL gold was posted onto the forum, but the mods decided to remove it because it was too good and would jeopardize the money sellers were making from this method. That struck me the wrong way... If someone wants to share something good they should be able to.
Agreed, there is so much value in the shares here one should get beat with a wet noodle for not taking advantage of the content.
IM is the easiest way to generate a 6 figure income if you are armed with knowledge and willing to work.
I think there’s a bit of a weird paradox going on.
People get into IM because they think it’s easy money, and don’t put in the work because it’s “easy”.
If everyone saw it as difficult, and put in the work, they’d see it’s really easy.
Knowing what I do about you I put you in this thought process.
As John Madden would say, "He's a guy". My brother and I say that about a lot of successful people we know as they put in the effort and put money in their bank accounts.
You don't mind working, you know one has to work to be successful and if your hands get a little dirty you are OK with that as you have running water in your home to clean those hands.
It's easy if you operate like you do as the money follows the work ethic.
Maybe we don't use pick axes and shovels but we do work and it sure beats having to use pick axes and shovels.
