Did you manually check them if they’re seen on google search if not do that you’ll find your answer
Yes, when I meant indexed - I can search in google and find them.

I know it will pass link juice. My question was more from learning perspective. Is this normal and expected behavior? Hopefully someone has seen this before
GSC simply doesn't show all of your indexed links.

first of all. i would prefer comment links upon GSA links. btw I have noticed that backlinks only affect your rankings when they are also cached by Google. Specially when they are shown in GSC.

OP If you are finding them manually in the forward facing index then they are relevant to your campaign , Search Console does not always show all links so you should not have any concern. But why build odd links? Where these foundation links or are you testing?
What do you mean odd links? The links I built are all types (guest posts, profiles, social bookmark, reddit, PBNs). My question was why links are not showing up in GSC vs finding them in google search (paste link and search in google).
Even today, I have some 30 odd links that I can find in google search (indexed) but I see only 1 link in GSC

It takes time for them to show up in GSC. Ihve had like take a month to show up after indexing. But I have some that just don't ever show up. Give it time, if they don't show up and they are indexed by google there isn't much you can do.
In the past I would worry a out getting links to index. I have since found it much more sucessful to create the link and move on, Google will do its thing in time.
