PBNs are mostly hidden, like they discourage most backlink trackers.

Don't be Discouraged by this, just carry on with the good SEO work and you will be on top of your competitor.
His 9 Links are showing he ain't making any efforts.
Its just that his content is good that is making google to rank him better at certain keywords.
that traffic is nothing .

In Ahrefs left pane, under organic search, look at Top Pages. See what pages are getting traffic and main keywords. You can then optimize for those keywords - they will probably be easy to rank

• Maybe your competitor runs a private network that Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz don't know about (as a lonelywriter said)
• Maybe your competitor is targetting other keywords (that you don't rank for)
• Maybe your website is not perfectly optimized
• Maybe Google doesn't like your website

... too many possible reasons could (or couldn't) explain your issue

Maybe they have good keyword strategy. Check for which page they get more traffic.

I have seen similar stats. Sometimes you can get better traffic based on the keywords you target. Backlinks, while a key factor for better results, are not the only factor.

Post better content than your competitor for the right keyword.

Those are Ahrefs stats, and Google does not use them. Google have their own set of stats that they use to rank sites.

Ahrefs doesnt provide enough info because the following reasons:
- Your competitors may ban ahrefs bots from crawling their PBNs
- Your competitors do social signals
- You competitor have other source of traffic such as Youtube, Twitter...Ads
- You competitor may have better content and/or better on-page optimization
