If you have managed to get #1 in G. for a 1000k competition niche(in quotes) I'm surprised. Definitely Link Wheels are the key here, right?

BTW, i had linkwheel depth of 10 levels.
The top 4 level were pointin to my money site. I have used only three triangualr linkwheels but i used 10 of these triangular wheels with 10 levels of property depth.

the top level had 15 spoke linkwheel around each property. Each property linking to the other linkwheel properties were social bookmarked on 50 sites.
I also use SEnuke and Ultimate Wordpress Comment Spammer!

Wow, that's a good linkwheel you created to promote your site!
These linkwheels have always confused me, it's like building an algorithm for a program! But the more deeper the linkwheel, the better your chances of staying in G. in the 1st page are! I also see that the G. sandbox didn't affected your money site, that good to hear, since most new sites don't get any ranking at ALL in the 1st month!

So, since you're on the 1st page of G. have you earned any money yet?
Also, not ranking in G. #1, but staying like this is more important!
So how do you do it that you stay on top of G.?
You create a new linkwheel and spam your web 2.0 properties again?
I believe these are new properties right?, since the other ones will get banned soon by G. for spamming!
Staying #1 for a long time is the real challenge in here...

Nice post, I was thinking of doing something similar. I was going to create a linkwheel, and use some of the services offered here at BHW (blog commenting, xrumer, social bookmarketing) to spam a hell of a lot of links to the web 2.0 properties linking to my money site. That way you get the link juice passed from the web 2.0 properties in the main linkwheel, but don't risk your money site being penalised since the spammed links are indirect.

for better looking graphics use bubbl.us it's free and you will be able to make wayyyy better mind maps. Thanks for the tips though. I might try this method.

While the top level of the linkwheel had unique articles. The lower level and the articles used to promote the lower levels were shitty and 100% not readable. They took some time to get indexed, but it was still better to wait for a few weeks rather then typing out fresh content.

I advice you to use fresh content on first to second level. It all depends on the competition
As I said i used property depth of 10 level, so my first 4 levels had good contentand then quality going down as you go deeper. But the backlinks will increase as yoou go deeper.

Well, I thought so first, but we must not fire away newbies, because we ALL were like them at the beginning! I remember asking that question first when I came across this forum. "What the hell is BH?"
But my best friend for these terms is definitely G.
