Still pretty confused to how this is going. Same strategies used for past few projects. Managed to rank well using on-page, off-page with parasite SEO.

Now current project keeps disappearing from SERP on targeted keywords. Don't even know what else can be rectified at the moment. :/ Really difficult for the impatient. Lol..

Did u involved in any web 2.0 links with exact anchor text? If possible everybody look into this, because the keyword which is went down I did some web 2.0 with exact anchor but my anchor text diversity is not bad. Thinking to remove it now to test it out.

No web 2.0 links at the moment. Only started the project in early dec, slowly building on parasites on high DR sites with backlinks to money site, was beginning to see a steady rise in ranking, then poof... Magically disappeared from targeted keywords for past week. Irony that these are low competition keywords. A wild guess that it might be IP related?

I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago. Was building a white-hat kind of authority site and my focus was on authority links and a good on-page. I couldn't figure out what happened, but it happened and all my KWs vanished from top 1 to 20, to page 10+.

A few days ago, the KWs start returning and today, I can see almost all the keywords are back to their original position. Let's hope nothing happened again.

Me too.. 2 of my websites recovered but some of them are still hit recently

That happens, when you use Angela backlinks strategy.

That's not his fault, we did not any strategy from the beginning to till now still we got hit and around 50%-60% down in organic traffic by november 7-8 update

Most of my sites were hit too (various niches) :/ And sadly this doesn't seems to recover (more or less 75% of traffic loss in december :/).
Sites are clean and do not have spammy backlinks.
Nothing special in gwt (surprisingly more pages are indexeed since the hit).
Weird update ... Sadly :/

Guys, put the niches of your affected sites at least so we can eventually come to some conclusions what is going on..

My website niche is web development tutorials and i am down by around 60-70%

We shifted to other network but it is clean just like adsense and we have around 8-10 banners at max

interested to know for those who see the bouncing back and going down again in the last 48 hours, is it for your primary keyword?!

if so, then this whole thing could be to on-site optimization and google trying to figure out its multi-indexing algorithm... just my 2 cents with zero proof.

I dropped a few spots the next day for KW's that jumped up, but today they jumped again and pretty much back to where they started, on one site. Still waiting for the other sites to recover.

There is a big shit in organic results. Tops include: 301 redirects, shortened links, incorrect language versions (e.g. in Italy - Argentine and Spanish websites, etc.).
It looks like it's waiting for correction. But it lasts a long time.

I am already putting new pages. As soon as the old strings are back, it will be a gift from Google

Anyone else noticing an increase in traffic? My rankings haven't increased much after getting slammed by the update, but I've gotten a 37.5% increase in traffic this Friday compared to last Friday and a 34.7% increase this Saturday compared to last Saturday.
