What you need to set up?
  • The use of keywords inside of a subdomain can help you add additional on page optimization per your URL structure.
    For example:
    - keyword: my keyword
    - Subdomain: mykeyword or mykeyword123
    => For example: mykeyword.angelfire.com ; mykeyword123.yolasite.com

1. Manual link building

- angelfire.com
- yolasite.com

2. Automatic link building
- mystrikingly.com
- scoop.it
- site123.me

I hope this could help you!

bear with me here: if you put your chosen keyword on the subdomain of the web2.0, it will be new and clean, but how your gonna get link juice to your MS from a freash web2.0 subdomain?

It will leave a big foot print to your MS. Even 2'os are hard nowadays.

works with blogger?
Yes. It's working fine with blogspot and site.google.com

Yes. However, I think that Web 2.0 blogs are very powerful in generating unique backlinks, and boost your search engine ranking as most of the web 2.0 site’s domain have huge authority and weight. I creating and building 3 successful websites for this strategy.

Not sure if it will work for others but good luck
Thank you!

It's really hard to get web 2.0's to index and even harder to get them to rank these days. They work well camouflage SEO to dilute your anchor text profile with naked URL and branded anchors.

The only web 2.0's that is see ranking for anything are nich related sites with a large about of quality content. That investment of content would be better on a domain that you own. I don't see the power of the domain that you web 2.0 is on helping you rank in anyway in 2019 and beyond. If anything Google has devalued these domains and it will actually make it harder to rank.

Don't believe me, see how many web 2.0's are ranking for even the easiest keywords. Self hosted domains with 0 DA will often out rank them.

True that. I haven't actually realized until now, but I barely come across a Wordpress.com or blogspot these days. Only on very very specific niches with no real competition.

Medium posts are a totally different story though.

angelfire.com? Lol, thought I was reading a thread from ten years ago.

How do you think a web 2.0 would compare versus buying an expired general domain with good stats and spamming subdomains on it? Effectively creating your own "web 2.0". Web 2.0's have good main domains, but they've been spammed to death. Don't really see them in the serps anymore.

Hi,

That investment of content would be better on a domain that you own - Yes. I agree with you. But I sure that Web 2.0 are still working - and working very well

However, That's a part of my Web 2.0 blog sites in niche website. Please check this out.

And....In this topic, I only shared How I Ranked on #1 of Google for this Keyword/Url.

There are a few steps that I would follow in order to create web 2.0 backlinks.

- Create a Web 2.0 account on Wordpress, Medium, Tumblr, Blogger, Weebly, Etc
- Include target/niche keyword in URL
- Build out profile, with images, about us page, etc
- Create at least 3-5 articles on each web 2.0
- Link out to other authority websites within my niche
- Link out to my website using a natural anchor text profile (branded or URL as anchor text)

This is pretty interesting. I don't see many people talking about a similar strategy to this often. I would like to see more of what you are doing. It might be fun to set up and experiment with this technique.

So I know a website that is a *****.WordPress com it's for a 40k a month search niche that ranks on almost all terms. When I say 40k a month I mean for most all relevent keywords to the niche. Would it be pretty easy to outrank it?
