AFAIK you have 1 month free with Festinger. You can download and test it. I think the beauty of these (paid) services, are not only the download themselves, but the possibility of having the latest versions of each paid plugin to perform an update now and then (specially knowing the exploits that arise regularly).

Just beware of some copies that could insert malicious code within the theme. This is a very popular practice within the theme sharing.

Try virustotal.com it sometimes find some positives
But other times it's difficult to spot.
Generally it's better to rely on trustworthiness of the people that offer the theme
