For now, I'm only doing what I'm good at. Lead generation. But as mentioned in my original post, I'm looking to collaborate with other professionals. I'm going to target the most difficult projects on Upwork, not simple work. More difficult the project, more money to be made, and less competition in it. Something like graphic design, virtual assistant, copywriter are very saturated. I'm not saying these tasks are easy, but there are hundreds and thousands of people on Upwork willing to work on these for cheap. These are not suitable for my annual target. I'm interested in projects which can get me a few hundred to a thousand dollars per project, or something that might be $50 - 100 for the first project, but I could find more areas to work on with the client to increase the ticket size.

Thank you. I take clients from any industry I can get who need leads. I've described the process in my previous journey. In short, my proposals are very long. I spend upto 30 minutes on each proposal and send tens of testimonials and past projects.

I provide leads of all kinds, any industry - mostly obtained from google and linkedin search. I don't have to convince the clients about the authenticity of the leads, because they ARE genuine. These are generated first hand leads, not taken from any existing lists.

Always keep pitching. If you keep pitching without losing hope, you'll start seeing replies from clients. There is no magic pill here. I'm not doing anything fancy and really don't have any "smart" method. Just old fashioned hard work. I apply to a 100+ jobs in a month (4 to 5 proposals a day). The investment is approx $30 a month + 30 hours spent on applying to jobs. Even if I get one job out of these 100, it's a worthwhile investment. Upwork is really a goldmine and sometimes I get jobs which can get me a 100X ROI. This is pretty much the strategy I use even for getting dates online on Okcupid. 30 swipes a day = 900 swipes a month = 10+ matches = Few back and forth messages and exchanging phone numbers = 2 dates a month (different girls).

You just need to make the client happy on Upwork for the small money. Then follow up with them after a month or two, they often have something else you can work on for higher income.

I am generating genuine leads with prospects, but I am unable to convenience them when they don't get the results they expected, but which I haven't promised. PM me a full conversation with a client from start to finish, I can have a look and suggest accordingly. Because till date no client has questioned the authenticity of my leads. I get full 5 star feedback for all lead generation projects. Never faced this issue you described but happy to have a look into it and help.
