if they release large updates in the playstore like they are doing with their search engine (google.com), playstore will be "interesting"....

Exactly like for SEO for every update for the search engine.
I'm really pretty sure that it can't be a bug.....we are talking about google teams that are alerted since weeks via support ticket/google forum/reddit/....
Google is known to not prevent every time there are rolling algo update with the search on google.com, so I'm not sure they will do differently with the play store.

Of course, all is speculation....but a bug for weeks...... by google teams....

Let's wait....

I don't think that it is algorithm change, because it is not possible to find app using package name.

i also should note that before i couldn't get my apps to show after typing My Dev name with underscore like thiis ' Dev_Name ' i had to write it like this '_Dev_Name' after apps became visible that day now they show up in both ways

i'm not talking about unvisible apps it's for older apps that got affected in ranking the last 2 days , maybe they rolled some update to fix the issue instead they just harmed older apps position lol

For my old apps, I'm getting either better performance, or similar.

these keywords are very hard with 1mln-5mln apps in top 10, green is position yesterday, black is position after fix...
so if somebody tell me it's not bug, why it affect older app?
i hope it will stay, it will give 3k-10k installs/day

tools like appradar or sensortower costs 80-100 euro/month

It is interesting. Like I said in previous post. I`m working in same niche nearly 5 years. I have gold keywords that basically I'm using them all the time. So any new apps after week or 2 Starts to appear by my keywords. After this bug, or change I cannot rank my new apps... My past app whose uploaded 3 month back using same keywords and it got nearly 50k installs and this app have basically copy - paste all aso and it ranks on 0 keywords.

100% bug, if farming.io from voodoo have the same problem, these guys are spending $40k/day for ads and loosing search engine for them is a disaster. I think big brands started calling to them and yesterday after publication on androidauthority something weird happened. Suddenly, all apps in Play Store were unkranked, even facebook, youtube, blabla. It looks like someone:
-frozen store ranks for fixing search issue
-tried fix and broken more xD

let's wait and see what will happen Google cannot allow even voodoo will run to iOS

it also happening with SEO indexing.

I think it advertisers complaining about free adverts/websites/landers from others in their niche.

google reset somethink to randomly fuck all indexing up my opinion.

an ai self learns so not even the staff no the answers .
