USA LLC taxes

If you have an income from a professional activity anywhere in the world you are taxed, that's the same in every country. And if you live in another country you are taxed in yours too.

If you pay taxes in another country it's usually deducted from the taxes in your home country.

That tax is legally owed on any income, whether it's earned through an LLC or not. And if there are tax treaties in place that reduce or eliminate the total tax burden, those treaties apply equally to LLCs and individual taxpayers.

If your point about double taxation is that LLCs make it harder to commit criminal tax evasion, that is technically true. However, that topic is entirely outside the scope of this forum, and unrelated to OP's question.

Creating an LLC without knowing if you are going to pay taxes, nor how much, is not vey serious.

If you don't need a "physical" presence in the US, just close your LLC and manage your business from your own country it's simplier and cheaper tax wise.

What if I don't need physical presence (online business), but having an LLC would open a lot more business from the US?

Absolutly not.
It depends on states, and countries involved, but in the majority of cases you are taxed twice. Only some taxes are deductible (depending on diplomatic agreements between the US and the country you live in), but generally it results in a big mess, and the one who is damaged is you.

You just don't know what you are talking about, why do you keep talking? An LLC is "tax-transparent", a "tax-nothing". It does NOT get taxed in the US. Only the members of the LLC get taxed in the place where they are personally liable to pay income tax. There is no double taxation!

But we've said it 5 times already, I don't think it will sink it.

at least doing business in asia, is free. I have partners from mostly in Germany seeking my support so that they can evade tax and benefit from their business. i don't have this tax problem here and i'm yielding good returns from my businesses.

The OP has two main queries

1. How much tax to be paid? That depends how creative you are, could be zero
2. File yourself or use an accountant? For 1k of profit, i would file yourself. Simple cost-benefit analysis

The OP is a non-resident, non-US citizen operating a single-member LLC. The LLC is a tax-through entity, where any profit the LLC generates, appears as general income on the income tax report of the member.
In the case of the OP, since he is not living in the US, and also does not appear to have 'nexus', there are no federal income tax requirements for this LLC.

There is the potential for sales tax, but not at 1k$.

Agreed, also if OP is on a visa like student or other, they would be considered a resident alien for tax purposes.

Not sure what the OP has an issue with. Would be good to have clarification

An LLC always pays zero tax
Offshore is completely correct.

You are taxed when you receive money from the LLC, and that’s taxed as income at the end of year with your personal taxes. Nothing special.

Also there are benefits of having an LLC for foreigners just geezus Christmas sometimes lol
