25k reduced to 3k

Take this money and run.

Invest it in something you have knowledge about.

The moment everybody starts panic selling, the whales start to buy.
As a result, there is a trend reverse. The price starts to rise.
Sellers are in disbelieve. Just when they sold!
But hey, "it must be a temporary increase", you hear them thinking.
But no, prices rise more. And more...
They start thinking to buy again, to recuperate some of their losses.
But can't make up their mind. What if it tumbles back again?
So they wait.
It's all over the news now. Prices at are at an all time high, and there is no
sign of stopping this now.
Suddenly they see everybody buying. Yes! Yes! This is the moment!
We're gone be rich. To the moon!

The moment everybody starts panic buying (FOMO), the whales start to sell.
As a result, there is a trend reverse. The price starts to fall.
Buyers are in disbelieve. Just when they bought!

But hey, "it must be a temporary decrease", you hear them thinking.
But no, prices fall more. And more...

So they start thinking of selling.

I will advise you just leave the investment. Crypto investment is a long term.

Since my little story didn't really answer your question,
here my 2 cents:

Don't switch to Ripple, based on the simple math that it could easily multiply x10,
given the current price and previous all time highs.
Ripple is too much money and power in the hands of just a few.
And it is fairly easy to copy the concept if you have time and money
and the right people. This is already happening.

That doesn't mean it can't follow the trend, but think!

Just like @drehdinho and others said, HODL.
Keep the coins you have.
Maybe some Monero, that's a x10 candidate, short time, for me,
but don't see this as investment advice.

No, Ripple is perhaps one of the worst ideas. Sell your trx and doge on a pump and take the time to actually educate yourself. Start reading content on Telegram channels and watching Youtube at the very least.

Cut your losses and get out. Take it as an expensive life lesson.

Or you can roll the dice again and put it all on LINK, XTZ (with staking), or some other 'pumpy' coin. Those high market cap coins like TRX and XRP are absolute junk.

invested about 25k which is now worth 3k

I am thinking about selling off any coin that still has value in my portfolio (Tron/Doge/Ethereum Classic/ Ethereum/ BatCoin) and investing it all on ripple when it hits less than 19 cents

I feel if somehow ripple hits > 1.50 I could recuperate what I invested

what do you guys think? is that a smart move

___
edit : ok 1.50 sounds like not going to happen anytime soon .. but even recuperating 60% somehow would be a win.

-------

I dont want to invest a penny more in , taking it out would mean complete loss .
now it is a very hard learned lesson .
i cannot go any lower now, i have made amends with the loss.

sorry for your loss

Ripple is not a good investment though, the owners sell off when the price increases by a certain percentage.

Those who are that much interested in crypto trading till now, I suggest you to go and invest in share market instead. It is MUCH more predictable, and you can actually gain some good return in long/short term. Don't F* around with crypto, you will end up losing all your money.

The lesson is learned, still paying for it now. I could have used that money for other ideas

sorry for your loss
