FB & IG are not coming to an end.. You got it wrong OP.. Just because it is getting hard to make money on these platforms does not mean anything! 99% of the members on FB & IG are not there to sell or market anything!

I believe social media will continue to improve its features for the benefit of the users. These companies will undoubtedly spend time and effort in conceptualizing new and more fun ways on how people can enjoy using it more, especially Facebook and Instagram. I can see Instagram as a developed marketing tool.

And if there is a new Network, that’s worth Instagram + Facebook + WhatsApp, he will sell his other Networks and buy the new one because he goes with the trends.

These platforms are peoples lives. The only time it will end is when their life ends.

Facebook is currently the king and I doubt the title will be taken away anytime soon. I'm pretty sure it's because of something called "memories"., There are lots of memories we can see with facebook, also old friends, any many more. It is also the reason why people are loyal with fb. Talking about me actually.

In IM the shelf life is shorter than in other industries but there is surely a shelf life - no preservatives can extend it for too long.

don't think so just see the example with the rise of tiktok if the company behind the new sociial media have enough money they will ot need to sell it

I know! I was on the subway the other day and many people were on TikTok, just flipping through videos ENDLESSLY. It's also super nice to see some interesting ad formats emerge on this platform.
