What is your long term game?

You only made 1 mistake and it is that this was your funnel = Traffic -> sale

As a result you lost everything when your traffic was stopped.

If your funnel had = Traffic -> grab email -> sale then you can re-market to them forever.

So on your next venture remember:

IF YOU GRAB THEIR EMAIL YOUR LIST CAN NEVER BE TAKEN OFF YOU. EVERYTHING ELSE CAN!

You are 100% right. I never expected my Instagram to get deleted overnight. This time I am going to take care of the sales funnel. Thanks for your input. Cheers.

Continue to diversify.

I've already lost a business overnight back when I was all in on SEO at the start of Panda/Penguin. Now I start a lot of projects, let the losers fail fast and pass the winners over to automation/VA/JV so I can move on to another. My plan is to continue to do exactly this.

Your welcome.

Everybody i have ever come across that is in a similar situation makes exactly the same mistake with their funnel.

You had success and only made that mistake. Fix it and you will be successful, because with email you can keep remarketing for $0.

The long-term business model is building a brand and finding a sustainable source of traffic (...at least for me). I'm currently operating an agency, which does cold emailing to generate leads, which can lead to investing in other sources (i.e content, 3rd party services, etc..) for lead generation. So for me, building up predictability that can sustain a business for years, is the ideal long-term goal in mind.

Long term game: Amazon FBA business with annual revenue $300k sold for $1M.
This is my long term game.

Nope. It sucks! Musing is a great platform for earning pennies. Also, it mostly consists of opinion-based questions.
I'm working on something much bigger.
Yeah, think it has been abandoned by its dev too. What blockchain you planning to use?

My exit plan has two paths:

1 - I'm bought for £3m (give 1.5m to each of my kids) and keep farm.

OR

2 - Step back and hand farm & business to the kids.

If I die before either event see point 2.

Love the question.

My long term game/gain is this:

Get enough quality traffic coming in generating good revenue on one site then branch/expand that traffic to more sites...

I want many micro-businesses to bring me minimum 300$/month each for a total of 2000$ per month
And all of this, on auto-pilot at some point.
I plan to keep my job since I think I will never make as much money on internet than in real life : start investing on companies, stocks, real estate etc...

I don't have it all figured it out yet

Long-term plan, buy land off-grid, become fully self-sustaining and fuck off from society ;)

This is my life now. Apart from the society thing - depends where you live. In the UK to be cut off from everyone is almost impossible!

The long term game? Make money online and invest it offline on real state: the biggest and 100% truly passive income.

I also thought like you when i was younger, but you shouldnt go "All-in" into real estate ;)

Real estate is risky rn, at least in my country.

Houses get more and more expensive as...

-the german government is making new laws on construction Regulations
-a lack of construction workers
-we built waay too few houses the last couple decades so we need ro progress faster and catch up
-inflation
- etc etc etc

I think at some point the market could crash.

The only long-term solution is risk diversification & building up multiple "pillars", (symbolically) :)

It's only risky if like most things you don't know what you are doing, over extend, buy something too expensive to make a profit on after selling or takes too long to see a return on it.

I've been lucky I bought houses for 11-38k most of these are now worth minimum £65,000 if not more. They are all rented and provide a rental of income of £385 in the poorer area and £525 in a slightly less poorer area - I've bought where people will always rent, one of them is my first home.

I've been lucky as I've been able to do it for much less compared to most. I couldn't do it if I lived in another part of the country. I can still buy now for 27-35k spend 10 and see £480 per month back. My portfolio is big enough though - if I had more Id have to manage it full time.

If I had to take out 100-300k to do it from the bank and set it all up id be shitting bricks. As I said I been lucky.

In Germany, if you rent houses away for 500$ you will get "mietnomaden", rent nomads

(they receive money
(about 4-500 a month, and they get paid the montly costs of their apartment, but there is a restriction so these people go mainly to cheaper houses)
from the german government and dont work & live at the cost of the german people),

which abuse the german laws that are protecting the people renting the houses
(For example: they pay the first 3 months, then pretend they dont have any money, through german laws, they can still live for 6-12 months in that House if they pay minimal amounts of money (10% of rent) )

But there are tricks to avoid those people, which my dad teached me :D
But still, real estate rental business is fucked up in my eyes here.
But if you know what youre doing ur pretty much 99% safe. Like in everything. ;)

Yeah it can be like that in the UK. Most of my tenants are long term I've only had one bad experience. A guy decided to make downstairs open plan without telling me, put no RSJ in (so nothing to support the floor above) walked in and the ceiling and floor was like this \/ I had to put him in a hotel before I could kick him out, pay over 50k to put that house right including making sure next door neighbours houses where safe. Took 3 months to get him out of a hotel, 5 months to get all paper work and get money back from insurances.

Was a nightmare.

personal brand
various product brands
real estate
financial investments

I agree: pillars are the key. Real Estate is just one of the big pillars.

Which else do you think to complement it?

Long-term: find a way to scale my eBay business to quit my day job. The numbers don't add up just yet, but perhaps injecting some additional revenue via dropshipping could do it. If anyone is looking to JV with a legitimate eBay retail businesses with their dropshipped products, I'm open to talk.
