Hey everyone,

This is my first post here and I am really looking forward to getting some advice from veteran Internet marketers who have made it big already. I have been making money online for last 3 years but I never was able to achieve a sense of stability because of the ever-changing dynamics and sudden loss of my traffic sources. I am going to break down what all I have done in the past-

- I started my IM journey with Crakrevenue and Instagram handles. I got an in house tool developed by my friend which automated around 60 Instagram accounts for me. This was back in 2017 and follow/unfollow used to work like charm. Instagram was not so strict with automation and with adult content. I was making about $100 every day and it really was more than enough for me. Fast forward a few months, Instagram cracked down on me and I lost most of my accounts and the surviving accounts got their reach killed. End of the journey.

- Invested in Facebook pages and bought quite a lot of pre-made pages from other internet marketers. Built a viral content website and got it approved by Instant article(Facebook). The content started taking off and I was making $20-30 every day. Facebook fucked me up, most of the pages deleted, remaining pages have got the most pathetic reach. No reason provided for page suspension.

- I started my dropshipping store in a particular niche which turned out being very profitable for me. I wanted to turn it into an authentic brand so I stayed away from automation and focussed mainly on brand building and lead generation. My Instagram handle got 30k+ followers within the first 3 months and I was getting 2-3 sales every day without any ad spent. This was making me $50-70 in profit each day. Instagram again fucked me up and banned my account for no clear reason. I wrote them multiple emails but no help.

After building multiple revenue streams and seeing them collapse within a day really has broken me down to an extent where I feel like IM can never provide me stability. I really would like to know what do you do for keeping stability in your life. How do you keep yourself motivated when your major revenue stream breaks down?

I really would like to know what long term investment/business models are supposed to thrive in this industry?

Almost same story for me ...

ATM a lot of people want to learn and i decided to make business on this niche.

I giving particular course in programming and i teach my expertise.

Long term game: Build a subscription-based platform that would make it easier for people to make money online. I'm working on it :P

No offence OP, but seeing what you have been doing you have never really build yourself a business but you used short cuts and exploits to make money, and don't get me wrong there nothing wrong with that of course, we all do this (well most of us)

But you should have used that money to buy or build assets, it took me also a while to understand that concept but when i did i started to make real money, not that i am rich but i am very comfortable, i have a view freelancers on staff and i am slowly moving away from micro managing my business (which is encredbly hard for me as deep in my heart i wanna do it al myself but there are only 24 hours i a day, so...)

You should read Sabri Suby's book called "sell like crazy" (of course no aff link) on how to build assets and sell a anything you want to whomever you want (there are free copies on the internet if needed) its a great book to start from, it is only 300+ pages so you have to invest some time into it.

Start thinking about what it is you want to sell and then start implementing the principals in his book and you will succeed, stop looking for the next shiny object and start building a business

Always had this mindset. It may be the longer route. But it is the most sustainable one.

None taken, You are absolutely right. I have always been after quick money schemes but never really invested back into the business. I will look into this book. Thanks a ton. Cheers.

A dedicated blog solely focused on a micro-niche, with links from authority sites.

You got good success in different ventures. The IM is going in a direction where these methods are not going to last forever. Bank with a method and then when you it dying, adopt other methods. Currently, I am providing IM related services to clients, one year before I was banking with crypto with a very interesting method.

Quora on blockchain but the users should be able to make a decent amount of money from adding well-explained answers. Been working on this project for the last 10 months. Let's see where it goes.

Long-term plan, buy land off-grid, become fully self-sustaining and fuck off from society ;)
i couldnt agree more..
A land off grid(already owned - not self sustained) or a motorcycle, camping and on the road.. i dont know what is best of these two for me..

You only made 1 mistake and it is that this was your funnel = Traffic -> sale

As a result you lost everything when your traffic was stopped.

If your funnel had = Traffic -> grab email -> sale then you can re-market to them forever.

So on your next venture remember:

IF YOU GRAB THEIR EMAIL YOUR LIST CAN NEVER BE TAKEN OFF YOU. EVERYTHING ELSE CAN!
