ZERO reach from Hashtags

No- I am not using the same hashtags with every post.

No- I am not always using hashtags that are too broad or popular.

No- I am not maxing out my hashtags to 30 each time.

Yes- I am posting quality content.

Yes- I am using relevant hashtags that go along with the photos I post.

Yet for some strange reason, my hashtag success has been pretty random to say the least. One group of hashtags I used months ago gave me 500-700 impressions.

Today, that same group of hashtags will only get me 9- 29 impressions. Honestly I've been getting 9- 13 impressions from Hashags on my posts all week long.


It's not that people aren't searching hashtags anymore because I see folks with crazy impressions all the time. And they always seem to make it to the explore page....So......

Can someone PLEASE help me and and explain just what the heck is going on with my account????

Also how on Earth can an account with 27k followers only average 200-300 likes per post? How is this even possible??

I'm guessing because we're rare cases and I already answered most of their questions in my OP. Lol it is strange how you are the only other person going through this though. Hmmm

Maybe you need more engagement on the pictures so instagram ranks them better on the hashtags

There are some pictures that get high engagement but most don't get any at all.
Folks just be ignoring me lowkey. I made it a mission to ask a question on my last post to start a discussion and folks literally look scroll right past.

I'm growing tired of Instagram if I'm being honest. Lol

likes are still there but just not public you do no that?.

I think you can see your likes but only as the account owner???? (( not cheeked ))
if they're gone there gone, so a new algo will be used with stats, it will eventually be discovered.

has been threatened time ago happening to all stats eventually on all social platforms, there was a massive article on it time back.

I fort views would go first.

I don't think hashtags will go as it part of the keyword algo it self.

there nothing to worry about as soon as there a solution it is published .

the best place getting upto date info is a bot forum like jarvee as the programmers are paid a lot of cash news travel fast.

so that means footprints are leaking, but most bot uses ai programming nowadays, human behaviour.

surly account would have been ban time ago if seen as a bot account

maybe it the new update hiding/deleting stats and a new algo going on?

My average engagement is around 25k likes and 300 comments, but only about 0.2% of my impressions come from hashtags. And I have never used bots, engagement groups or the like. With my level of engagement I should rank rather high on hashtags, but the hashtag impressions are ridiculously low (<2000 per post).

Throughout the past two months, I stopped using hashtags completely with one exceptions, where I tested if the impressions from hashtags came back by having a break away from them. They did not.

If you have a look at "Top" in a popular hashtag, all the "Top Posts" are having relatively low engagement (200-2000 likes) and are all very recent posts (max. 4 hours old). So, perhaps posts hitting "Top" will only be there for a very short time compared to earlier.

Here it seems so, but people I know from IG are experiencing the exact same thing.

Wish it was this easy, even choosing hashtags in which I could easily rank, the hashtag reach is still awful right now.

You are not shadowbaned

Check out if you are not using banned hashtags --> these can hurt your account.
For the relevancy of the photo : Hashtag, I'd suggest you to pick more relevant hashtags.

Then you should set up a ladder of hashtags.
Set up first 5 - 10 with the average likes you get (without engagement groups) and then move up.

Instagram is a business and their goal is to sell as much ads as they can.
So if your account will attract people and make them stay on your profile, Instagram is going to give you more exposure.

Nowadays, Instagram is testing the like hiding feature. In some countires likes are not hidden, yet.
That can be one of the main points why are your posts performing poorly.
People are less likely to engage with content that hasn't been previously approved by the public (unless you are famous).

Damn. Those numbers are absurd No wonder people are heading to Tiktok and the like. I've been losing motivation to post regularly on Insta these last few months

You cannot research hashtags because they HID THE LIKES! The only likes I can see now are of my own. So checking out which tags I could possibly rank for simply isn't going to help.

Also, I am super unsure why people are always saying that I am not using relevant hashtags. I am an artist and I use hashtags that other artists in my niche use. How more relevant do I need to be????
