Even if you're very good at something, If you can't market your skills effectively, its not worth anything

Marketing is such a wide term. Whenever someone says they are good at "marketing" in general, i just assume they have no idea what they are doing.

If i could take a pill that would make me a ninja at one skill, I would choose copywriting. If you can write SEO rich copy that sells - you can do anything with that. You can either go the sales route and do dropshipping or something similar or write a ton of articles from a cafe somewhere in Bali, living the digital nomad dream.

Programming - you can take any random app/website and write a bot for it to automate accounts for getting traffic. Then you can just flip up some CPA offer or whatever. You can always get fast traffic because there are millions of platforms people use out there.

Well we all need to start somewhere even “unnecessary” work is good knowledge because you know what works or not.
I had a rule of thumb to stick two years with a company or skill and switch to something else related.

It’s funny you mentioned the insider I remember being frustrated people getting hired with no quality at all well in my humble opinion and figured I need to step up my game. I searched for specialist companies in web development and wrote a letter being frustrated companies endorsed PHP over other and willing to work without payment. I got hired for a year and even got a salary of 500 euro and best of all learned how to become an engineer.

I think to become a successful dev the following is necessary:

• history
• brain
• laptop/pc
• internet connection

Yeah, cause if you work for a fucking company you need to poses ton of unnecessary knowledge, that doesnt correlate to the task that you need to complete. I know a bunch of people who started and became great programmers without a degree but they had and insider to help them get in. And i i know a ton of people with a degree that suck at it.
