Need suggestion for my First Blog

Hello people,
Please ignore my English.

I am from India (maybe it can help you in sharing your suggestion). I am planning to start a blog or website. Niche is "Make Money Online". The problem is that I don't know where to start.

Also, my English is not good but I think my English is good enough to attract the 2nd and 3rd tier country, let me know if I am wrong here.?

I planned to publish a daily 2-3 article. It is OK?

How much I should spend on advertising and what methods I should use for advertising my blog?

Advertise on BHW
Why do you want advertising ? You can learn SEO and keep it going. Also, daily 2-3 article is okey I think.

I just landed over your post and decided to write some tips on "How to Start First Blog", because blogging is a lucrative method to make smart reoccurring money.

I have not much but some experience with blogging, so hopefully given tips would not only help you but others who plan to start similar stuff.

So when we see blogs like 'ShoutMeLoud', 'NeilPatel' etc, so we see their revenue generation stats or product recommendation prices, advertising etc and make a believe, we can we can also build something similar & leverage it to make such profits.

And yes absolutely you can BUT there's lot more, most of newbies don't know & that's what i am trying to write in here. So you can also plan your direction accordingly.

As you wrote above, you want to write about 'Make Money Online' Niche, but before that i would like to know about your credibility over such a broad niche.

Credibility may include stats about 'What Products Have You Made ?', 'What Advertising channels have you elaborated ?', 'What Services have you run online ?', 'For how long you are in such a business?' etc.

Because if somebody say, just to rewrite an article on social ads, google ads, product development etc, doesn't gonna make you much money because there's no lack of such blogs.

So first key point is 'Gain Authority'.


Now let's say you're having enough stats to above questions and you're capable to write.

So First make a professional website. You can go with wordpress cms as dedicated Blogging platform with tons of free & premium plugins and can build on low cost under $200 easily with built-in theme.

Second key point is 'Make design Simple & Engaging'.


Once you're having enough content(50+ articles), now let's come to Traffic.

In beginning, go with Referral Traffic and best referral traffic you can generate from Forums like BHW & Quora (Q&A).

Utilize quora for as premiere referral traffic generation method and trust me, it works.

So follow above tips & you would start getting traffic from quora from the first week of writing over there.

So third key point is "Use Quora For Referral Traffic".


I know it's bit long and i also want to write more but let's finish it with few more direct points.

Fourth key point is "Start Doing SEO using Yoast Plugin".

Fifth key point is "Invite other to write quality stuff in exchange of nofollow backlink".

Sixth key point is "Apply for Adsense Account & Place Ads".

Seventh key point is "Do some youtube videos for self & blog promotion".

Eight key point is "Create Social Media Pages, Promote For Likes & then Ads".


Do it for 6-months and you would see something building for you, that would start giving ROI soon.

  • Have Canva/Photoshop ready to create beautiful graphics for your social media accounts.
  • Make sure you have chosen your niche and stick to it.
 
Akhilesh, it's okay if you don't have that great a control over the language. You can easily outsource your content writing requirements to freelancers (found on narrato.io, upwork, freelancer.com, etc.) and concentrate on promoting the blog.

A lot of people ignore the latter - promoting the blog post. According to MarketingProfs, more than 2 million articles are published everyday on the web. You have to make sure you have a good promotion strategy in place to get noticed and generate a good income from your blog.

Please don’t forget to update your contents regularly. I think it’s a quite important technique.
 
Choose your niche carefully. Make sure its something you love and also something a lot of people love. Find the balance.
 
Here are some points to write your first blog post

Who are you ? Why are you blogging ? What are you going to be blogging about ? Who are you writing for ? How can they get involved ? Clearly state your blogging goals

my niche is "make money online" and i think everyone will love this niche and people will love around the world.
 
Even a single article per day or twice a week could help. Don't focus on writing 2-3 per day, instead max out content quality.

the niche is very saturated, you sould make the topic more specific and learn about the KW, there are many topics about that here

Do anyone know. Articles on this niche can get listed on Google News?
