Footprint-Proof PBN?

Hey, guys. I read a thread recently about how if you sign up using the same email address to register your domains, somehow Google can trace this.

Is that true, or is it BS? I thought if you paid for domain protection/whois protection, people couldn't see who registered the domain.

An answer would be much appreciated, thanks!

What? That's not what I asked. I know to use different IP's and emails on the actual website, but I'm talking about where you buy the domain from.

The rumors a few years back when Google became an ICANN approved domain registrar was that they were using that to see who was using private whois information. I'm not sure how true that is but that was the rumor.

Interesting. So, if that was true, you'd have to register each domain under a different email, name, and payment method?

I read on a guide. You can register with say GoDaddy with an email address but change whois information for each domain you register

It seems like everyone says you should register each domain with an [email protected] email address, and then have them forward to an email you check regularly.

Just don't want any footprints as I build this thing out.

I haven't tried it yet. The only way to know is to test.
But if you have the time and resources to create separate accounts then go for it. Better safe than sorry

With enough digging and lobbying anyone could track it back to you if they worked hard, but having a step removed like in this suggestion is always better. What is it that you are planning on doing?

Agreed. I'm just planning on building out a very niche specific set of PBN's, and maybe some old expired domains, as well.

I would say if it were true, everything but the payment method should be different. Credit card payments are private between companies.

Certain search engines are "bros" with certain registrars.

If that's the case, in theory, they can just call them up and ask for the list of all domains under billing email (not whois email but actually client billing email)

This is indicated during Lorem Ipsum incident.
