I have a bit of an issue with my computer. Here's the situation.
I run the computer with 57 programs running at all times, and it runs for 3-4 days usually before I restart it.
After I restart, as I'm turning on the programs, usually after program 30 at some point the screen will go black and I will only be able to see the mouse pointer loading. That will last for a few seconds and then it will return to normal.
However at this point the programs I've turned on start having weird issues. Like the buttons in the menu (Tools, Help, etc) don't do anything when clicked anymore. Also pretty much all other buttons within the programs stop working. But the programs themselves stay open and can still be partially used.
At this point I close all the programs and re-open them. Then they open fine and I run them normally.
So this is not really an issue other than a waste of my time. But it seems to me that I could figure out why this happens and fix it. I suspect maybe it's the ram. Maybe the ram tries to restore programs from a previous session, but after I turn on 30, 40, 50 of them the ram just buggs out and does some sort of auto-correcting purge, after which it is restored to blank and works perfectly.
What do you guys think?
Thanks
