Best free traffic sources

Classified Ads are only relevant today for certain niches such as professional services, local businesses, used stuff etc. It however can be very tedious to post in different states etc so i use some free bots to post for me.

A little expensive

In my situation I am actually posting individual products (they are used items) so I need to post manually. One of the sites I use to post charges $499 a month to keep one ad live at all times in the top 100 cities. It might seem high but when you consider the cost to alternatives like google adwords or facebook ads it is much cheaper.

Take for example the package that one site sells is $499 for 100 ads live in the top 100 cities. If each one of those ads gets you just 5 visitors a day (and some of my ads will get 100 to 200 visitors per day) that is 500 visitors a day from those 100 ads or 15,000 visitors a month. It is good quality traffic because it is a visitor who saw a product for sale and then took the time to type in or copy and paste your url into their browser so clearly that is a visitor who is actually looking to buy that product. The niche market that I am in the average cost per click on google ads runs around $.68 a click. so if I had to pay $.68 from google for 15k visitors that would cost me $10,200 vs $499.

The same goes for Facebook ads. I was paying an average of $.23 a click from Facebook for some ads so to get those 15k visitors I would spend $3450 from facebook vs $499. So it might seem high but for that high of a quality type visitor it is actually dirt cheap. You also have to consider your time. The SEO side is great because it is free visitors but how much time do you spend on SEO work to get and then maintain those rankings. If you really consider the labor and cost with SEO to get ranked for competitive keywords vs the rate of return it is even a better value than SEO.

Where do you hire them and where do you post your AD? it seems good if calculate like this, thanks very much

Why would you limit your traffic sources.

Ideal scenario = Grow a website + build SM traffic + paid traffic
Why?
Because doing this covers all the development stages.
Website SEO = Long term traffic
SM traffic = Medium term traffic
Paid traffic = Short term traffic

At some point you'll be able to stop paying for traffic and the rest is following along your already established schedule.

Can't pay for traffic? Cultivate consistency and patience, and you'll get there.
.
This is my motto too TBH.

In ranking your website do traffic exchange help? I don't know if there's other ways to get free traffics aside from social media accounts. I just been curious if traffic exchange will if you are not using any paying ads..

Depending on what you are selling the good old craigslist is a good free traffic source from my experience.
