I hate how TikToks algorithm for countries work!!

Hi,

I‘m from Germany & run an account with videos that are in English. My comments are 90% German and that annoys me. I’ve already set the settings to the US. Not that germans can’t comment but I just have the feeling that my content is getting limited to mainly Germans and just a few international people.

Am I doing something wrong? Have I missed a setting?

Agreed, I think they'll need a new account created on a proxy to target people In a specific country

I guess the for you feed is based on IP location. I traveled recently and can't manage to have a french for you feed. It was really annoying as I could not understand the language in the country I was...
I think IP location is also used when posting because when I posted a video during my travel, I didn't get french comment on my videos and didn't get the reach I usualy have
