Hello BHW Members, I hope u guys are doing well today
So, after reading many posts and journey about ways to make money in BHW Forum, I decided to launch a website, I'm completely new in this domain and it gonna be my first Website, so I don't know all of the mistakes to avoid, things that I have to possess, and ways to choose that can be more profitable.

At the moment I know some stuff that I have to possess and it's :
- Having a good knowledge of SEO
- Is better to launch the website with Paid Hosting and Domain
- A good content

About mistakes, I don't have experience in this domain so I don't know at all what is common mistakes that beginners fall in, if you guys can list most important mistakes to avoid so I can have good basic will be really amazing.

The way how I'm gonna monetize the blog will be through Ads Network ( Google Ads ) and Amazon Affiliate Program.

And about the Hosting and Domain, which one do you guys suggest in terms of price and quality.

The website that I'm willing to launch will be about Pc Hardware, I know that it's a niche where there's high competition in and it must be updated all the time, but it's the only domain that interests me and is the only one that I have good knowledge about.

The way that I'm targetting my traffic, in the beginning, will be free traffic through social media since I'm really in a tight budget at the moment.

The content that I'm willing to post won't be in English, I'm focusing on another audience ( Eu ) but a specific one.

If there are some other things that I didn't list it there's a huge chance that I don't know it and not that I forgot it.

Thank you guys for taking time to read my post and I hope for u an amazing time :)

I can tell already, @Didou that you're going to be a success with this. You've got a solid game plan; you're open to feedback; and you have a great attitude.

The only part of this that I can advise you on is the domain name. Which domain name you choose really depends upon your budget. If you can only afford to hand-register a domain name off the shelf, I would recommend a short, readable/brandable .com that closely or identically matches the name of your company/brand.

There could be advantages to picking up an expired domain with backlinks, but since you and most everyone else here are SEO-skilled, so I will defer that to you.

I wish you the best.

Thanks for the advice
Do you suggest any specific company to get my domain from?

Good luck with it OP!

If you're in it for the long-term, create every article as if it's going to be the best-ever resource available for a user, over just trying to focus on covering as many keyword/topics as possible.

Can't beat out the competition as a resource on a topic? Then look for area/topics that you can offer new value.

Unique value =

# Meeting unfilled demand in Google, which is easier to rank for.
# Better user experience.
# More chance you'll become an authority on a subject.
# Better chance of getting natural links to your content.

That creates a virtuous circle of traffic and ultimately revenue and success.

I suggest you include Yoast among the list of plugins that could assist you. Create fresh content for your targeted niche & Good luck:)

I suggest godaddy for your domain name, you may have problems because you get hosting from research. Hope your new project is already successful.

Reverse engineer your competitors' blog posts

Make sure your blog posts can become RESOURCES in your niche

Always PROMOTE your posts-social media, your email list

It's awesome, you are taking the first step, I believe you'll make it.
Good luck for OP.

And the hosting provider, I'll suggest SiteGround or Bluehost.
You can go to YouTube to check review and pick the one you like.

And I'll suggest you focus on Amazon affiliate first. Focus on one thing can make you get the result faster.

Btw, remember to start collecting email list and doing email marketing from day one.
There are lots of authority bloggers confess that their biggest regret is didn't start collecting emails from the day one.

Anyway, hope for the best!

Thank you very much guys for your answers and advices
I will do my best to follow them to achieve my goal.
